It's just like a small town from the Western World.
This place is located in an abandoned 🪨 quarry in Jinhua's Jiulong Village, covering an area of about 200 acres. Little Iceland is actually a mountaintop ⛰️, but this mountain is special, as it is made of typical limestone, appearing blackish-grey, 🌿 without a blade of grass, resembling a black sand beach. Beneath this dark rock lies a lake, with clear and cold water, 🌬️ and when the wind blows, ripples dance across the surface. It is said that this place was discovered by the film crew of 'The Farthest South', who built a whaling ship 🐋 according to the needs of the plot.
Now, this place has become an internet-famous spot, overcrowded, no longer the leisurely and comfortable small town it once was
‼️ Therefore, make sure to prepare well before visiting Little Iceland, and it is suggested to come in the 🌅 morning or forenoon. At this time, the sun rises in the east, full of vitality, and the photos taken are especially beautiful, but the most important point is that there are fewer people, the whole scenic area is yours, 📸 take photos however you want, and it's easier to get good shots. If you come during noon, not only does the light lose its three-dimensionality, but the place is also full of tourists, making it hard to find a poetic and picturesque atmosphere.
📷 Photography suggestions:
Bring a transparent or pure black umbrella as a photo prop
Photos taken on rainy or foggy days will feel more atmospheric
