[Okayama] Yamada Bee Farm where you can eat, play and experience🐝🍯💛
This is Mariko (@mariko000001) on a weekend getaway☺️
🏷️ Okayama Trip Summary
#mariko_okayama
I happened to see a sign and decided to check it out
It was so much fun at Yamada Bee Farm🐝🍯
I stopped in because I wanted to eat honey ice cream
But when I got there I was surprised
It was a hands-on tourist farm where you could interact with goats, sheep, and rabbits! 🐐🐏🐰❣️
The honey soft serve I was looking for was a combination I've never seen before🍯🍦💛
It was so delicious that one wasn't enough lol
I was able to get pretty close to the goats and sheep and see the animals up close♪
There were lots of photo spots, strawberry picking, and even a "beekeeping experience" where you can touch bees and observe their ecology
I definitely recommend you go there~💛

My goal is to travel to all 47 prefectures and make a post about them.
We basically travel by car, and we're a crazy couple who don't mind driving for about 7 hours.
Of course I want to highlight famous places, but also lesser known places💡
If you're happy to support me🧡, I'd be happy if you followed me🥹🫰
Comments and requests are very welcome, so I'm waiting for you✨
I'll do my best every day to help you on your travels, even if just a little🥰

Located in the north of Okayama Prefecture, on the border with Tottori Prefecture, Meisen Kagiyu Okutsuso stands on the banks of the Yoshii River. It is a 10-second walk from the Okutsu Onsen bus stop and about 25 minutes by car from Innosho IC on the Chugoku Expressway. This wooden inn with only eight rooms was designated a national registered tangible cultural property in November 2018. In the 1950s, the world-famous printmaker Shiko Munakata stayed here and left behind many works. Some of his works are on display throughout the building, and are popular with art fans. The biggest feature of Okutsuso is its own hot spring that "springs from under your feet." The bathtub is built where the hot spring springs from the bottom of the river, and is used as a bath in its natural state. The hot spring that springs from the bottom of the bath at 42.6 degrees is highly alkaline and has a pH of 9.2. It is said that there are only about 30 of these hot spring facilities out of the approximately 35,000 in Japan, and it boasts the finest spring quality. In 2014, a verification project was carried out to obtain medical evidence, and the results showed that bathing in or drinking the hot springs at Okutsuso boosts immunity. In addition to day trips, Okutsuso also offers a plan that includes use of the hot springs in the evening and dinner. You can enjoy their famous hot springs and meals for as long as time allows.

I visited Okutsukei in Okayama on 11/10. This year, the maple leaves turned red much later than expected. I thought it would be all green, but luckily, the maple leaves were starting to turn red. The gradient from green to red is very beautiful, and the sound and light effects of the Forest Art Festival create an ethereal beauty and atmosphere. I highly recommend that everyone in Okayama go there these days!

[Okayama] Spicy curry served in an old house deep in the mountains🍛🐶

🏷️ Okayama trip summary

One morning I decided to go to Notoro Onsen, the hot spring in the sky in Okayama.
So I decided to take a detour to a nearby restaurant and happened to come across an old-style restaurant❤️
The retro-feeling "Okutsu Chamber of Commerce" was renovated last year and turned into a complex with a curry restaurant, cafe, and dog run🐶🍽️🧁🍛
How luxurious to be able to enjoy this in an old-style house surrounded by nature♪
The curry is also full of spices, and it's a real curry that's hard to make at home🍛💕
There are two types of menu, and I recommend the mixed curry❣️
It seems that a different curry appears every month~🍽️
\ This is what I ordered this time /
Two types of mixed curry ¥1,500
◎The usual dal curry
◎Macho tomato keema
Please go and check it out✨😋💓
