The seafood is sooo good every time 😋 After checking in at Sokchea Kampot Hotel, had a quick shower, went to Golden Hands Spa 💆♂️ really needed that massage after the drive... The evening was super chill... Just walking by the river, stopping by the giant seahorse 🐚 and watching the fountain ⛲️ Nothing fancy, just nice and relaxing... ✨ Next morning we went for our usual crab fried rice 🦀🍳 Still full of crab meat and super worth it for like $4–5 💵 The rice was a bit tough this time, maybe we got the last batch, but still good enough...😆 After breakfast, we skipped Bokor this time and went to Kep instead 🚗 First stop was Kep Crab Market and we kind of went all out… fried shrimp, squid, durian... 🦑🦐 Also grabbed crab and prawn curry from Kimly Seafood to takeaway 🥘 always a safe choice... The observation points are right on the cliff. Below is endless jungle, beyond is the Gulf of Thailand, and on a clear day, you can even make out the silhouette of the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc. Standing on the rocky edge, you literally see Cambodia ending and another country beginning. The park boasts preserved buildings from the French colonial era. Abandoned buildings, old stone pagodas, and stupas—all part of the history of Bokor Hill Station, once an elite mountain resort. Now it offers a strange combination: silence, wind, and architecture that has endured for decades. A special highlight is the Lok Yeay Mao Monument. A huge white statue of the region's patron goddess towers over the mountains and sea. Visible from afar, it seems to guard the entire region. Our stay in Kampot was Pechyanich Resort which is a 20 min drive from Kampot City Centre. 🚗 We had to choose where to stay between Kep and Kampot and my vibe was having mountains, forests and rivers when I woke up, which made Pechyanich Resort a good choice. 🏞 Breakfast included but not buffet, but they were flexible with the arrangemenr as we do not eat pork. 🍳🍚 The resort also offer free Kayaking but we didn't try it though. 🛶😁 📶 No Wifi at the resort, but mobile data is accessible. 🌬 Air-conditioning in the room ✅️ 📺 No TV in the room 🚫 Overall it was a great stay.
