While traveling in Kitakyushu, I stumbled upon this restaurant on my way to visit relatives in Yukuhashi. The signboard caught my eye, but the restaurant is located on the second floor of a building, giving it a hidden, secret spot vibe. Here, you can enjoy nutritious set meals crafted by a licensed dietitian 🍚. I entered the restaurant right at opening time, and it quickly filled up to near capacity. Despite its location, it seems to be very popular. The owner, a licensed dietitian, ensures the set meal is perfectly balanced with plenty of small dishes. Every single homemade Japanese side dish is truly delicious and made with love ♡. For stir-fried dishes, olive oil is used, making it healthy as well ◎. The rice, sourced from a farmer in Kanda, is 100% freshly harvested and incredibly shiny and tasty ❤️. Moreover, the meal includes freshly brewed siphon coffee. The coffee beans are Mandheling, offering a smooth flavor with minimal acidity—a truly authentic taste. The design of the Japanese Zen temple is simple yet elegant, with swaying bamboo forests and gurgling springs. You can feel the breath of nature. The quietness around seems to cleanse the soul and make people forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Here every step is a spiritual practice, and strolling along the gravel path can’t help but give rise to a sense of tranquility. Although the cherry trees in the courtyard are not as lush as in midsummer, they sway gently in the breeze, as if whispering to me. At this moment, I think this is the charm of Zen, which makes people feel the depth in simplicity.

It's a lovely old-style cafe that roasts its own coffee in-house✨ You can also buy coffee beans! Buy a meal ticket from the vending machine at the entrance 🎫 They ask if you want garlic or not I asked for garlic 🧄 I asked for it firm 🍜 The light and mellow soup was delicious ✨ It has fragrant and nice char siu 😋 The staff asked my daughter twice, "If you're a student, it'll be cheaper. Are you a student?"
