#roadtrips Our recent road trip through Ireland was one for the books! We started in Dublin, rented a car, and hit the open road. The freedom to explore the countryside at our own pace was incredible. First stop was the Cliffs of Moher—absolutely breathtaking! Entry was around €10, and it’s worth every cent for those jaw-dropping views of the Atlantic. Driving through the winding, scenic roads felt like we were in a movie, with sheep-dotted hills and castles at every turn. We continued on to Galway, where the lively streets and traditional music made it hard to leave. I highly recommend a pint of Guinness at a local pub, paired with fresh seafood. On the way back, we passed through the Wicklow Mountains, and the dramatic landscapes were simply stunning. No entrance fees needed—just nature at its best. Ireland’s charm isn’t just in its scenery but also in its people. Everywhere we stopped, locals were ready with recommendations and stories. Address: Newcourt, Co. Wicklow, Ireland Atmosphere/Facilities: I visited Bray, which is about an hour away by bus from Dublin, the capital of Ireland. It is located below Dunleary, but it is also famous for its beautiful sea views. If you climb to the top where the cross is, the view looking down is really beautiful! Key Points: I thought the hiking course was easy, but it was steeper than I thought. Also, if you go after it rains, make sure to bring hiking boots. Your shoes can get dirty in the mud, and it is slippery and dangerous. I recommend going on a clear day if possible! Hi travellers! I was on a trip to Ireland, my 3rd home country 🇮🇪. I traveled the whole country in 10 days! It was exciting and the people there are as well! We were lucky! We had no rain or bad weather for the whole stay. As people think Ireland is very green, it sure is! The fresh air is also great. I loved seeing my culture for the first time :). I really want other people too feel it as well. The history of Ireland is very interesting! that’s why I recommend going too museums, especially they have great ones in Dublin! I think religion is a very important thing in Ireland! The flag represents peace between Catholics( with the color 💚green) and Protestants (with the colour 🧡)

Who would understand! To find a place where I could truly clear my mind, I flew to the west coast of Ireland. When the car stopped at the cliff edge of Downpatrick Head and I watched the Atlantic waves crash below my feet, I really thought I had reached the end of the world😭 Why Mayo County It’s not on the usual Ireland tour routes, but it’s the most spectacular section of the wild Atlantic Way. Here you’ll find one of Europe’s highest sea cliffs, stunning fjords and islands, and ruins that look like they’re straight out of Silent Hill. The entire route is 2,500 km long, but this part in Mayo feels most like the “end of the world”🌍 4 must-see spots (don’t miss any) · Downpatrick Head (sea arch wonder): At the northern tip of Mayo, this is a signature spot on the wild Atlantic Way. A 70-meter-high sea arch stands in the Atlantic. Standing at the cliff edge looking down at the huge waves crashing against the rocks, the feeling of solitude is overwhelming. The ruins of a WWII lookout post are right at the cliff edge, perfect for movie-poster-worthy photos. Free and open all day. · Achill Island (Ireland’s largest island): Just cross the bridge to get there.
