The streets are pedestrianised with shops, bars and restaurants jostling for attention amongst the old castle and churches. It won’t take you long to wonder around but it’s worth doing. My travel plan for you: • start in beautiful cafe “Alice” for an amazing cake and coffee; • then it’s shopping time in variety of artisan shops, galleries, jewellers, clothes, souvenir shops • time to visit Saripolou Square is the Holy Cathedral of Virgin Mary Pantanassis. Seeing so many people booking two months in advance and still not getting a table, I was incredibly lucky! The overall flavor was on the salty side, but the creativity with the ingredients was very high, making it quite delicious. It's a Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine, and they explain each dish in detail, patiently checking on the progress of the food. I was a little worried beforehand because I saw many online reviews saying the service was so-so, but overall, the experience was very good. The price is around $500 per person, and tipping is not mandatory. Having traveled all the way to Lima, I think it's definitely worth experiencing the world's top restaurant.
