#JulyDestinations2025 From Riga Central Station, Latvia, we took the Flixbus to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, a 4.45-hour drive. We stayed at Bali House, a guesthouse on T. Vrublevskio g. 4. The location was excellent, with the cathedral and the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania right outside. The guesthouse was clean and tidy, and it was on the street but not too noisy. Our itinerary for Lithuania took two days: Day 1 Lithuanian National Theatre (where you can take photos of the three golden men) Catherine Square Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania (we recommend buying full tickets; all four halls are very interesting, and the third and fourth halls usually feature European art exhibitions) Gediminas Tower (you can hike or take the cable car 🚡) Three Crosses Bernardine Garden St. Anne's Church Church Republic on the other side of the strait (you can go early to browse the shops. If you're looking for a stamp, see Figure 3️⃣ for a stamp upon entering. You can also mail a postcard.) Day 2 Presidential Palace Pedestrian Street: Stiklių g.
