They are a perfect match for this small, stone-built village, typical of Bretonne. In autumn, the hydrangeas take on a slightly dull, autumnal color. A great place to stroll around town in the fall. ◾️Access Take the TGV from Paris to Quimper Station (approx. 3 hours). From Quimper, take the bus for about 30 minutes (Platform 10). ◾️Bus Bus tickets can be purchased directly from the driver. (1€). Tap-to-pay credit cards are accepted. There are about five buses per day on weekdays, but please note that there are few buses on weekends. Get off at Locronan, the last stop (misson), and board the bus from the same stop on the way back. Quimper, which is on the way, is a town famous for its pottery. Located in Brittany, France, Locronan is the most medieval town I've ever seen. The uniform gray granite houses, the quiet square in front of the church, and the cobblestone streets make it feel like knights with spears and ladies in long dresses could walk out of the houses at any moment. Although not widely known and with inconvenient transportation, it is a favorite filming location for many movie directors. It's a must-visit for those traveling by car.
