Belém Tower was one of those places, and I regretted not visiting it properly. So this time, I made sure to include it as a must-visit spot! Portugal during daylight saving time is incredibly crowded with tourists! We stayed in the Belém area, and starting from 10 AM, waves of tourists began pouring in. Many attractions had long queues. We started lining up at 12 PM and waited for about 1.5 hours before we could enter. To avoid the crowds, I recommend arriving at 9 AM, as the influx of tourists begins after 10 AM. Belém Tower (Torre de Belém) is one of Lisbon’s iconic landmarks and a must-visit attraction. This 16th-century harbor fortress symbolizes Portugal’s Golden Age and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. The architectural style incorporates exotic elements, Moorish, and Arabic art, developing into what is known as the Manueline style. Belém Tower is the most classic and representative example of this style, making it a unique and worthwhile visit 📷😍💕 The interior of the tower is stunning, and my personal favorite spot is the first-floor terrace 🥰.
