As a fan of offal, I was on the hunt for a place where I could enjoy grilled beef intestines (gopchang) even when dining alone. Recently, I realized that Korean cuisine lacks vegetables. After a few days, I felt like I was running low on vitamins! To make up for the lack of vegetable intake, I decided to have some Mala Tang on this rainy day. This Mala Tang is really delicious. I visited the Cafe Gongmyeong Hapjeong Branch Seoul Workspace, located between Hongdae Entrance Station and Hapjeong Station! Cafe Gongmyeong is well-known as a large cafe, but the place I visited this time felt like a combination of an office and a cafe. There was a small office space next to the cafe. The space is not very large, rather cozy. Interestingly, the entrance is a revolving door. It's narrow enough for only one person to enter at a time, but the door is beautiful. What impressed me was that you can choose the number of shots. 0 shots (decaf) is called Mangwon, 1 shot is Yeonnam, and 2 shots is Hongdae. My friend ordered Mangwon iced Americano, and I ordered Yeonnam iced Americano. It had a slightly acidic taste but was savory.
