LUZON DATUM: THE CENTER OF THE PHILIPPINES
From Dalahican Ferry Terminal in Lucena, I travelled by Roro of Montenegro Lines to Balanacan Port in Marinduque. Then I travel by land to reach Brgy. Hinanggayon, Mogpog. Afterwards, it takes less than an hour to walk uphill to Mt. Mataas which is roughly 220 meters above sea level and with 468 steps up to the summit. There I find Luzon Datum of 1911 with the iconic stone marker that considers to be the reference point for all surveys and mapping activities in the Philippines. On top, I appreciate the view. And most importantly, the Statue of Our Lady of PIAT at the center of the Philippines. Mabuhay!#luzon datum#our lady of piat#mountainview#oceanview#mytripvlog#center of the philippines

This is our 1st travel after 2years of quarantine due to Covid Pandemic.. It was nervous because we might have to go to quarantine protocol of the province but thankfully all was well and turn out to be enjoyable because of the island party. Vibes/night party at the beach...

Century Old tree
Second time to visit province of Marinduque, when it comes to night life happenings i would recommend Maniwaya Island, Marinduque. Traveling to this province would take you around 5 to 6hrs. by a van.. Including boat transfers going to the island...
Good food, Tent accommodation in the beach and alcoholic drinks and live band music nightlife on the side are the best bonding and relaxing moments we had with my friends.. Surely I will come back again for another great adventure at marinduque.

From Lucena City, we jumped into a roro boat with our motorcycles. It was a 3-hour trip until we reached Marinduque. From there, we had to drive an hour to get to our booked hotel in Marinduque Hot Spring Resort. It was a 2-day trip and it was #marinduque fun!
