The Highlights: Riverside Vibes: You can’t miss the Marlow Bridge. Fun fact: it’s the prototype for the famous Chain Bridge in Budapest! Walking across it gives you the best views of All Saints Church and the rowers on the water. Higginson Park: Perfect for a post-brunch stroll. We stopped to see the Sir Steve Redgrave statue (a local legend) and watched the boats navigate Marlow Lock. It’s incredibly peaceful, even in the crisper months. The Food (The Real Star): Marlow is basically Tom Kerridge territory. We grabbed a burger at The Coach—Michelin-starred but totally unpretentious. Things in the shops can be slightly dearer than in other places, but the quality of what you get is so much better. Would highly recommend coming to visit Marlow.
