Agiofarago is a sandy and pebble beach located in a small bay in the south of Crete, about 82 km from the city of Heraklion. Agiofarago is translated from Greek as the Holy Gorge. And the beach is the end of this gorge. Agiofarago beach is not equipped, nearby is the Church of St. Anthony, so naturism is prohibited here. There is a spring near the church, but there is not always water in it. Therefore, if you are planning to relax on the beach, be sure to bring water and a snack with you. Also, please note that there are no trees on the beach, so it is better to take a sun umbrella with you.
