Day 12 Jiasa🚗Kunming Airport, return the car, Kunming✈️Beijing. 🌡️ Clothing Preparation: There is a significant temperature difference along the way, with cool mornings and evenings, so layering is recommended. 1️⃣ Kunming: High 16–17°C, low 3–4°C Wear a sweatshirt + light down jacket. 2️⃣ Jianshui: Similar to Kunming, add a light down jacket in the morning and evening. 3️⃣ Pu’er: A single sweatshirt is enough during the day; add a jacket or light down at night. 4️⃣ Jingmai Mountain: A sweatshirt is just right on sunny days; at sunrise and sunset, the mountain wind is strong, so a light down jacket is necessary. 5️⃣ Xishuangbanna: Long-sleeve T-shirt or thin shirt during the day, add a light jacket at night. 6️⃣ Jiasa (a small town at the foot of Ailao Mountain): Sweatshirt during the day, and a light down jacket is also needed in the morning and evening. 7️⃣ On Ailao Mountain: Around 8°C even at noon, damp and cold in the forest. I wore a sweatshirt + light down jacket and still felt a bit cold; if you are sensitive to cold, add another layer. 🚗 Road Condition Tips: Mainly highways and national roads throughout, with some good condition country and village roads. Except for heavier traffic around Xishuangbanna, other sections have light traffic. ⚠️ Two special notes: First, the road up Jingmai Mountain is gravel and indeed bumpy, but driving slowly is fine; Second, the winding roads of Ailao Mountain can have very low visibility in fog, so please drive carefully and slowly.

“Jinglai Pagoda Forest” is located in Mengjinglai Village, Menghai County.
