🇯🇵【Tokushima Prefecture】Free admission is a plus! Miyoshi Sports Park🛝(^^) Asobi no Oukoku, located in Miyoshi Sports Park, a large sports facility in Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, has a variety of playground equipment. This area is divided into three areas based on age, so you can play safely. The new playground equipment, which was just built in 2013, is colorful and cute, inspired by the process of wine making in Miyoshi (Miyoshi Winery is next door). #Spring0yenTrip The JR Geibi Line stretches 159.1km from Hiroshima Station to Bitchu-Kamishiro Station in the north of Okayama Prefecture. While it is used by many people for commuting to work or school in the outskirts of Hiroshima, it is also a famous local line for train enthusiasts, with some sections having the lowest usage in Japan in some years. Between Hiroshima and Miyoshi, diesel railcars from the days of the national railway are in use, with about one train per hour. With seasonal scenery unfolding from the train windows, it is used as a means of transportation between Hiroshima and the north of the prefecture, but in recent years the number of passengers has dropped significantly. The "yokai" that have sometimes been respected and coexisted across generations are systematically introduced through permanent and special exhibitions. This fishing pond is located in Kimita-cho, Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and is quite far into the mountains. In the end, the road is only wide enough for one car, so you can experience the feeling of being in a remote area. A fishing rod with bait costs 500 yen. If you stick with it for 30 minutes, you can catch at least three fish. The rainbow trout you catch can be cooked and eaten either salt-grilled or deep-fried. It's the joy of eating a fish you caught on the spot. Note that salt-grilled trout takes more than 30 minutes to cook slowly, so if you don't want to wait, ask for deep-fried. They also have udon, ramen, and rice balls, so it's recommended to order these with your fish.

I climbed a mountain to see the first sunrise of the year. It's in the countryside of Hiroshima, but I saw the sunrise from an observation deck for the first time. Apparently, when it's foggy, it creates a fantastic sunrise. It's Takataniyama in Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. You can get there by car, so I think it's a good idea to go with a rental car. In the summer, it's an observation deck where you can see fireworks, so if you climb up and watch the fireworks, you'll be able to enjoy them in a different way than the usual fireworks you see from below, because you'll be able to see them from above, a local told me. There are cafes and art museums nearby, so I had a lot of fun.

A beautiful park with maple trees along the Eno River near downtown Miyoshi. It is usually quiet, but during the cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons it is packed with people. There is parking for about 30 cars. It is about a 10-minute walk from the Miyoshi Mononoke Museum. It is a small hill with an observation deck, so the view is good. There are walking paths in all directions, not just to the top, so if you want to go around them all, you will end up walking quite a bit. There are a few swings and slides, so you can play with small children.

This relatively new facility, built 4 years ago, is a rare museum that focuses on ancient Japanese monsters. There are face-in panels and photogenic spots with monster motifs scattered around. The museum admission fee of 600 yen seems a little high, but it's still enjoyable. The biggest selling point is the giant screen created by TeamLab. Children can color in their own pictures and see the people and monsters they have colored, such as Tengu, moving around on the screen. It's quite moving when you see it for the first time. Small children will love it. There are also souvenir and dining facilities. Although it has nothing to do with monsters, there was a steam locomotive on display in the parking lot.

A canoeing experience facility where instructors will teach you the basics. Elementary school students and above can use the facility for 2,000 yen for 70 minutes. I don't think there are many people who have experience canoeing, but there is a training session and you wear a life jacket, so I think it is safe even for beginners. I would recommend this to not only adults but also junior high school students and upper elementary school students. You can enjoy it even for a short time, and you can improve a lot. Swimming in the main stream of the Enokawa River is dangerous, but the tributaries are gentle and there are natural slides, so even small children can enjoy it safely. There is also a campsite and cottages on the premises, so you can stay overnight and relax.

This is the largest fruit-picking facility in Hiroshima. The main attraction is picking grapes, pears, peaches, apples, and other fruits, but recently they have also started to accommodate outdoor enthusiasts, offering barbecues and Dutch ovens. Instead of a time-limited all-you-can-eat system, you pick fruits by purchasing a ticket. To put it simply, it's a little more expensive than buying it at the supermarket, but you can pick a variety of fruits without worrying about time. It's better to think of it as an experiential amusement rather than a cheap way to buy fruit. It's a lot of fun, so I recommend it. You can also enjoy parfaits and shaved ice that look great on Instagram.
