Mudanjiang isn't the largest city in China, but it still offers plenty of places to enjoy yourself. The city's Jiangbin Park is at your service. Right at the entrance, you'll be greeted by the famous "Eight Heroic Women" sculpture, dedicated to the heroism of the Chinese female partisans in 1938 who chose death rather than Japanese captivity. After passing the sculpture, you can stroll along special paths, join a boat ride, or go a little further for a stroll in the quiet of the trees. On weekends, it's a lively place, with people singing and dancing, and a beautiful drone show. The park is located in the Dongan district. It was my first time seeing snow, and the excitement was beyond words. The itinerary was well planned and very fulfilling, with classic and unique attractions. From snowy landscapes and ice sculptures to local customs, we fully experienced the authentic flavor of the Northeast. I traveled alone as a female joining the group tour, initially worried about adapting and safety, but it turned out to be completely safe. As long as you are in China, you can fully trust the country; everywhere is very safe. The group atmosphere was great, with everyone looking out for each other, chatting and laughing, so the feeling of unfamiliarity quickly disappeared. We had a very relaxed and happy time. I made many good friends here and met a lovely tour guide sister who was enthusiastic, genuine, gave excellent explanations, and provided thoughtful service, making us feel the generosity and sincerity of Northeastern people. The food, accommodation, and transportation were all worry-free and worth the price. The snowy scenery was stunning, the air was clean, and every photo looked like a masterpiece. Overall, it was a relaxed, enjoyable, and very safe trip, perfect for traveling with friends, groups, family, or solo. It was a very worthwhile winter trip, full of memories and leaving me wanting more.
