Located right at the edge of the Sahara, this small “village” is accessible in about 30–45 minutes by 4x4 from Nefta, crossing salt flats and sandy desert landscapes that already feel otherworldly before you even arrive. What makes the experience so special is that many of the original movie sets are still standing and surprisingly well preserved. Walking through the narrow streets and clay-style buildings really feels like stepping onto another planet, especially if you’re a Star Wars fan.
