McCaig Tower is Auburn's landmark and a historical building. It was built in 1897 by McCaig, a local banker. As soon as I got off the bus, I wanted to rush to the tower. At the beginning, it was a steep slope. When I reached the top, the town of Auburn came into view. It was beautiful! If you overlook the entire town at night, you will see a beautiful night view that is different from the daytime!

McCaig's Tower & Battery Hill is a popular tourist site in Oban. My friend and I stayed three days there. It was about 20 minutes walk from the town centre to the McCaig's Tower & Battery Hill. It was a amazing place to spend your half day there. The tower can be dated back to 1897. You can seat on the grass or bench and enjoy the panorama of Oban Bay. It was totally fantastic!!

The small shops and cafes along the harbor are also charming; sitting by the window with a hot drink, watching the ferries slowly sail away, is one of the most relaxing moments of your trip. Oban Harbour doesn't require a special itinerary; just stroll around and you'll feel its charm. The sea, the light, and the scenery here are all gentle, making it one of the most worthwhile towns to visit on Scotland's west coast. If you love peace and quiet, love the sea, and love slow travel, Oban will definitely make you want to stay.
