It's also designated as a national scenic spot and natural monument, one of Japan's 100 best beaches, and one of Japan's 100 best white sand and green pine beaches!✨ It's a national park established by the Ministry of the Environment in 2013, with the Rikuchu Kaigan National Park at its core, for the purpose of rebuilding the Sanriku region affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and passing on the memories of the disaster.🙏 It's so incredibly beautiful!✨ I wanted to take a sightseeing boat, but the waves were too rough today, so I couldn't.💔 I visited several photo spots while admiring the impressive rocks and waves.

#0yentrip After leaving Morioka Station, we arrived at Sanriku Fukko National Park in Ofunato City. The sea breeze here was strong and it felt so good! When I think of the sea, I've only ever been to sandy beaches, so the view of the sea from the cliffs was refreshing!
