The Midwest is really boring I didn’t want to travel far during the Thanksgiving holiday So I came to see the famous Omaha To unlock the place where Buffett’s shareholder meeting is held And to pay homage to Buffett’s home In summary: the key to getting rich in the Midwest is probably having money but nowhere to spend it because there really isn’t much fun, shopping, or good food. If you’re on a road trip passing by, it’s worth considering. 🤑Here is a two-day Omaha travel guide🤑 Day 1: Buffett Pilgrimage Route💸 📍Hollywood Can A flashy candy store full of various American retro elements. There are life-size cutouts of Buffett and Bill Gates at the entrance. It’s said Buffett loves sweets and used to visit often? What surprised me most here was actually the arcade room inside, with all kinds of pinball machines. The new season of Stranger Things just came out recently, really felt like traveling back to Hawkins in the 80s! 📍Passageway Gallery The candy store is right in Old Market. After shopping, you can stroll around the nearby small shops. This gallery looks very vintage and photogenic (but I didn’t go because it was too cold and I didn’t want to walk much, so I’ll leave it for you to check out~). 📍5505 Farnam St Buffett’s real home! The exterior is really low-key! It’s said he has lived here since 1958 and it’s still one of his main residences. The neighbor’s mansion looks even more grand. The whole neighborhood has many exquisite big houses, truly the old money life of the Midwest. ⚠️Although the address is publicly available online, it’s still a private residence and the neighborhood is very quiet. So we pretended to be walking a dog while passing by, parked the car nearby in advance, and didn’t park right at the door. We even experienced the old money dog-walking lifestyle, and some residents greeted us. Not sure if one of them might be a hidden billionaire. 📍Gorat A steakhouse Buffett often visits! I heard you need to book in advance for the shareholder meeting or you’ll have to wait a long time to eat? Went during Thanksgiving and there was no wait at all. Ordered T-bone and Ribeye steaks, which were just average. Day 2: City Walk🖼️ 📍Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge Pretty ordinary, its feature is spanning NE and IA. 📍Joslyn Art Museum The building is beautiful! But it seems there’s no major masterpiece? Just a quick look around. 📍Joslyn Castle If you only look at the exterior, it’s free! The inside is said to be very beautiful. If you’re really bored, you can check it out. It used to be the residence of a wealthy businessman. 📍“Stile di Famiglia”🍴 Sculpture Just a boring check-in spot. Day 3: Zoo🐒 This zoo is said to be the best in the US and looks impressive! I didn’t check it out because it was the middle of winter.

I took a short work trip to Omaha, Nebraska from Oct 18–21, staying at a small house near the city center. After arriving on Oct 18 at 4:10 PM, I headed out for a quick walk to get familiar with the area before prepping for the next day’s meetings. On Oct 19 at 7:30 AM, I wrapped up morning work tasks and drove out to the West Papio Trail, starting my ride around 9:00 AM. The trail was quiet, scenic, and easy to follow, with stretches along the creek and open fields that made for a refreshing break between work commitments. Later that evening around 6:45 PM, I explored downtown for dinner and walked the riverfront before heading back to finish emails. On Oct 20 at 8:50 AM, after a quick morning call, I returned to the West Papio area for another short ride and photo stops before spending the afternoon in meetings. The trip was productive but still gave me a chance to enjoy some of Omaha’s best outdoor spots.#travel

1. Mee Pok at Orchard Bak Chor Mee This hidden gem is tucked away inside Orchard Plaza. At first, I thought Google Maps had led me to the wrong place, it was already 8 PM, and most of the shops on the first floor were closed. Thankfully, a kind aunty pointed me in the right direction and told me to head up to the fourth floor. I wandered around a bit before finally finding the small corner shop. Despite its size, the place was busy and bustling. I managed to get a seat, and let me tell you it was one of the best mee pok dishes I’ve had in Singapore! 2. Chicken Rice at Maxwell Food Centre Originally, I planned to try the famous Tian Tian Chicken Rice at Maxwell, but the line was quite long. Instead, I decided to check out the next stall right across from it, called Uncle Louis. No regrets at all! the chicken rice was absolutely delicious, and the portion was incredibly generous! #singapore #meepok #chickenrice

Wouldn’t recommend, not the best customer service, requested a room with a bathtub/accessible operating bathtub, as being handicap require such. After attempting to use the bath, there wasn’t a drain, I called the front desk concierge to request a room of the same value with an operational working bathtub, and was told to hold on. I was then placed on hold, a good 10 minutes later, I was given a response that I was dumbfounded by, “I don’t understand your questions, after speaking with my manager, the only option I have to offer brief pause, extreme emphasis, To Check Out, the most unprofessional disturbing experience id ever ran into with comfort inn let alone any hotel, including the hostels I stayed in during mission trips to South America. Don’t stay unless you’re willing to provide your own customer service to the employees.

who who doesn't enjoy a little family fun zoo trip on the weekend! the whole family can go and enjoy every minute together. it may cost a small entrance fee but it is and always will be well worth it I mean check out these beautiful pictures above elegant giraffes eating together so sharks and a lot of bonding time with the family always well worth it rather then sitting at home all weekend we decided to go an boy was it well worth every dime and every moment out together. we certainly don't regret it and are already planning the next adventure to a different zoo with the family and this time were inviting more of the family because we had so much fun!!#zoo #family #fun

Benson Park is a spacious and endearing recreational park in the heart of Dover, New Hampshire. Situated on 166-acres of forestry, the park is home to many outdoor recreational areas. They offer the best activities that bring visitors face to face with nature. Within the park are many amenities perfect for a day trip with friends and family. Some of the park’s amenities include bathrooms, playgrounds, picnic tables, and nature trails. If you are looking for a peaceful day in nature, Benson Park is the place for you. Another park attraction is Friends of Benson Park which is an old barn that’s been converted to a small museum that houses local historical artifacts. The Benson Park Trail has several hiking trails, suitable for hikers of all skill levels, with interesting historic buildings along the way. The Hudson Dog Park is a fenced-in space where your pooch can run wild. Finally, a 9/11 memorial sits on the park property whereupon visitors can pay respects to local men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
