I'd honestly say this is my absolute favorite waterfall right now! 🌿💦 Getting to experience the nature here is just incredible. It's located near Mae Khong Village, Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province, which is a community of the Pgakenyaw (Karen) tribe. Uncle Pue Lue clears the path to the waterfall. The trail is filled with lush trees and beautiful flowers, and we even had the uncle's super cute dwarf goat leading the way! The sound of the waterfall gradually gets louder, making it feel so refreshing. I was beyond excited to finally see it with my own eyes. Huay Nam Yen Waterfall... is absolutely stunning with its crystal-clear water. Just a heads-up: watch out for leeches along the trail if you're visiting during the rainy season!

Chedi Phra That Tan Jai or Chedi Phra That Tan Jai Phraya Athit Tarach is a sacred object enshrined on a mountaintop, near the highest peak of Doi Mon Chong, at a height of 1,929 meters above sea level. If you can't carry everything, the locals offer porter services. Continue by local's vehicle. The road is quite bumpy and potholed; hold on tight or you'll get bruised! Arrive at the trailhead. It's about 6 kilometers, but it's an uphill climb, so it might be tiring. Rest if you're tired along the way, and stop for a meal if you're hungry. The "Dog's Panting Hill" is very steep, so walk carefully, but the view is a stunning 360 degrees. Once you're there, find a spot to pitch your tent. Just reserve whichever spot is available. 📍Doi Mon Jong Mon Jong is definitely a place everyone should visit at least once 🌿 The weather in the morning was amazing, around 6°C, so fresh and peaceful. The view on top of the mountain was absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunrise. Getting up the mountain was much easier than expected, and the trip was totally worth it. A perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and recharge your soul ⛰️

We may not pass through here often, maybe once a year, but it's still a beautiful village with an interesting, simple charm. As we drove further into the village, there was another village and a very beautiful waterfall, refreshing and good for the soul. However, you have to be careful of dangerous wild elephants, as this is their territory. Our journey was about being guests visiting this beautiful forest. There are lots and lots of leeches 🐛. At the waterfall, there's an elderly man who maintains the trail for tourists without expecting anything in return. However, you can support him to help maintain the area for visitors. 📍 Travel Information Omkoi to Na Kian: 50 km Travel time: approximately 2-3 hours. The road is extremely rough and not recommended ❌. But for adventure seekers, it’s worth the challenge, taking about 7-8 hours. The dirt road is muddy and extremely tough ⚠️🚸

This is a review of a delicious coffee shop in Omkoi district from the perspective of a visitor who just tried the coffee here for the first time. The shop offers both dark roast and medium roast coffee. The menu item I ordered was matcha latte, which had a perfectly balanced flavor. The ice is homemade by the shop. The staff provides excellent service, and the price, ranging from 50-60 baht, is quite reasonable. If you're passing through Omkoi district, you must stop by and try it.
