The cheapest hotel I've ever stayed at, and it wasn't a scam! Hotel Address: The One Five Osaka Shinsekai Atmosphere/Location: Located in the Shinsekai area. Tennoji Zoo is across from the hotel, which my child loved! You can also see Shinsekai Tower from the window. Pros: Booked close to travel date, so the price was very cheap. Maybe because we booked our flights through Trip.com, giving us a big discount on this hotel. The room is spacious; a 31-inch suitcase fits comfortably, and three 20-inch suitcases also fit. Perfect for those who love to carry a lot of luggage! Recommendation: It's about a 10-minute walk (700 meters) from Shin-Imamiya station to the hotel. If you think you can manage that, go for it! We're adventurous travelers, so it was easy for us. Highlights: There's a lively market with lots of food and goods nearby. There's a Don Quijote nearby, so you can shop all day. This trip to Osaka chose the Nikko Hotel located in the city center of Shinsaibashi, mainly because of its super convenient transportation, right under the subway Shinsaibashi Station, walk out is Daimaru Department Store, Parco Department Store, a turn has entered the Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street, shopping and eating great. I used to hear that Japanese hotel rooms are super small, and there is no room to move after leaving the suitcase, but this one really broke the impression, the sense of practicality is full, I will think of staying in it next time I go to Osaka. The location of the hotel is convenient enough that you don't have to worry about getting lost even at the entrance and exit of the MTR station. There are also a bunch of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so you don't have to climb mountains and rivers to buy supper at night or sweep souvenirs before leaving. Going to Dotonbori to eat crabs, Shinsaibashi shopping for trendy brands, American Village search used vintage, all within walking distance, very convenient to explore the city.
