Tokachi is known for its magnificent natural scenery, but if you head north of Obihiro to Otofuke Town, you'll encounter a truly unique landscape. That's the birch-lined road at Tokachi Ranch☝️ A row of birch trees lines both sides of a single road stretching over 1km, creating a lush, refreshing summer scenery.🌿 And since I visited just after a heavy snowfall in winter, the land was blanketed in pure white.⛄️ There's a parking space just before the road, and given its location, it's best to visit by rental car. The roadside station between the birch trees and Obihiro City is also a recommended stop, having relocated and reopened in April 2022. The most amazing thing about this relaxing trip between cities was that I chose this great value for money hotel with large rooms, reasonable prices and excellent service. Specially recommended for those who want to use a reasonable budget and enjoy a quality holiday.
