Getting There - Drove by car approximately 45 minutes from Leerdam. Attractions - Nature area, wild animal, walking and cycling path. During spring, most of the area will covered in purplish flowers and it will looks stunning then. I would totally recommend to visit during spring. Food & Restaurant - This nature area are a bit far from restaurants and shops. But as I walked along the road, I saw a small restaurant with the deer head on it’s door. I especially enjoy walking around the park in summer (around August) because of the heather flower is in full bloom. The view surrounding is especially mesmerising during this period. Apart from wild horses, and deer, Scottish Highland cattle can sometimes be seen around in the wild.
