Places in England that don’t feel like England
The Eden Project in Cornwall feels like stepping into another world. Built inside a former clay quarry, its huge futuristic domes are home to thousands of plants from completely different climates. 🪴
Inside the Rainforest Biome — the largest indoor rainforest in the world — you walk through tropical trees, waterfalls and warm humid air that makes you forget you’re still in England. 🌴 Fun fact: at its highest point the biome is around 50 metres tall, tall enough to fit the Tower of London inside. 🤓
Right next door, the Mediterranean Biome is filled with olive trees, citrus plants and herbs from southern Europe. We visited on a rainy day in Cornwall, but honestly it made the experience even more atmospheric. 🫒 🌺 🌳
It’s one of those places that’s hard to describe until you see it — part botanical garden, part science project, and one of the most unique places to visit in the UK 🇬🇧

#uktrip #cornwall #edenproject
There’s so many things going on at the Eden project, whether that be for an occasion or some form of artist performing. They have a stage set up for music sessions and during the winter this area is turns into an ice rink.
With two domes and much to see in each you’ll be amazed at the vast amount of foliage, plants, fruit growing and also the ice cream is amazing. It tastes phenomenal.

Stepping into the Eden Project in autumn feels like entering a living tapestry of color, texture, and soft golden light. The massive biomes glow under the fall sun, each one framing the changing season like a natural cathedral. Inside the Rainforest and Mediterranean biomes, warmth and fragrance wrap around you, offering a contrast to the crisp outdoor air. The landscapes shift from deep greens to russet tones, and the whole site feels like a sanctuary where nature slows down and invites you to pause. Eden Project Smokey Room…
It was unexpectedly huge dome with floras from all around the world. The efforts of the people to re-create artificial climate inside the dome is really praise worthy and the feel get natural alike.
Merch from Eden projects and Cornish Cream is must to get souvenirs.
All in all very touristic place despite being little expensive over £40 per person but good thing is the tickets can be use for 12 months and can be shared with friends per ticket per person.

Cornwall: Where Coastlines Tell Stories
#mytraveldiary
Cornwall, the jewel of England’s southwest, is a place where rugged cliffs meet turquoise seas and golden beaches stretch endlessly under the sun. Known for its dramatic coastlines, this region blends raw natural beauty with a rich cultural heritage. Wander through charming fishing villages like St Ives or Padstow, where cobbled streets lead to colorful harbors and fresh seafood delights. Explore the mystical ruins of Tintagel Castle, said to be the birthplace of King Arthur, or stroll along the South West Coast Path for breathtaking views at every turn. Cornwall isn’t just about scenery—it’s a lifestyle of slow living, sea breeze mornings, and cream teas enjoyed by the shore. Whether you’re surfing at Newquay, visiting the Eden Project’s futuristic biomes, or simply watching the sunset melt into the Atlantic, Cornwall captures the essence of freedom and escape. It’s more than a destination; it’s a story written by the sea.

UK's Eden Project: A Must-Visit in Devon! 🌿🌎
#summervacay
During my second week in Devon, I finally made it to the Eden Project! We bought tickets online for £38.
The UK truly excels at making learning fun and engaging, and the Eden Project is a perfect example of that! This place perfectly blends education with entertainment. We spent about 3 hours exploring the whole site. ⏰
The Tropical Biome (the rainforest greenhouse) is absolutely massive! The higher you climb, the hotter it gets, but they even have a cool room with air conditioning to help you chill out! 🌬️ It's an amazing place to bring kids – so much to see and learn! 👨👩👧👦

Eden Project Cornwall 😍
We recently visited the Eden Project in Cornwall with our family of four, and it was a fantastic experience. The kids were captivated by the massive biomes, especially the Rainforest Biome, where they could explore lush vegetation and learn about diverse ecosystems. The Mediterranean Biome offered a delightful contrast with its vibrant flowers and aromatic herbs.
One of the highlights for our children was Nature’s Playground—a vast, imaginative outdoor play area featuring water elements and natural materials. They also enjoyed the Edentify Trail, a family-friendly activity that led us through the Outdoor Gardens with interactive clues and surprises along the way.
The Core building provided engaging exhibits that were both educational and entertaining. The "Blue" installation, emitting mesmerizing smoke rings, was a particular favorite.
We found the entire site to be stroller-friendly, with accessible paths and facilities. Bringing a picnic allowed us to enjoy lunch amidst the beautiful surroundings, though there were also various eateries available.
Overall, the Eden Project offered a perfect blend of education, adventure, and relaxation for our family. It's a destination we'd highly recommend and look forward to visiting again. #travel #naturalwonders
