Chakrafa Worawihan is the place where Luang Pho Dam is enshrined. It is located in Khok Duea Subdistrict, Paisali District, Nakhon Sawan Province. Luang Pho Dam is a Buddha statue from the Sukhothai period, approximately 700 years old. It was discovered in the middle of a cemetery at Wat Sa Thale. Originally, there were three Buddha statues in total, but now only one remains. The villagers of Paisali invited him to stay in a pavilion that was roofed with zinc. Later, the villagers who had faith in Luang Pho built a new Chakrafa Worawihan to replace the old pavilion, which has been used until today. Luang Pho Dam is a Buddha statue in the Samadhi posture. The Buddha statue is black and covered with gold leaf around it. It is a sacred object that people in this area know well about its miraculous power in granting luck. Once, a teacher in the village came to make a vow to him and tried his luck. It turned out that he won a big prize and became rich because of his power. Some people made vows for health and illnesses and soon recovered. They made vows for land or real estate and were able to sell them easily. In addition, the villagers in this area believe that if they make vows for things that Luang Pho Dam likes, their wishes will come true faster.
