Located in the hotel's GF core area, 'Hui 108', named after the hotel's address, not only presents new-style quasi-Yang cuisine, but also provides an interactive space for guests and chefs in the open kitchen. The restaurant and bar on the top floor 31F named 'Gather', offers a variety of rare vintage spirits and creative cocktails, accompanied by multi-flavored barbecue. The excellent view overlooks the Nanjing CBD skyline, and when night falls, it will become a wonderful place to stimulate all senses. There is also a more than 1,000 square meters outdoor terrace garden on the 6th floor of the hotel, with green plants covering it, creating a quiet city garden. In the afternoon when the setting sun is pouring, you can enjoy a delicate afternoon tea on the terrace and steal half a day of leisure.

The hotel has two restaurants, located on the top floor and the 6th floor. The hotel gym and swimming pool are located on the 11th floor, which is not a high-altitude swimming pool. The gym is fully equipped and has a dedicated Pilates room, with ice towels and ice water provided.
Service
The hotel's concierge service is enthusiastic, actively opening the door and taking luggage when getting off the car, and the front desk also actively sent the luggage to the room. It is worth mentioning that because the delivery guy did not deliver the takeout to the first floor of the hotel, but sent the takeout to the meal cabinet of the office building, the hotel learned about it, and the lobby manager actively offered to help find the takeout and delivered it to the room.

Located in the core area of Hexi CBD, the location is good! Although it's a bit far from the city center, there is a subway for transportation, which makes it very convenient to get to the Confucius Temple. Parking the car at the hotel and taking the subway to the city center means you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot!!
Convenient transportation, with the Yuantong subway station just over 200 meters away, and dedicated parking spaces are available.
This time I booked it to go to the Olympic Sports Center for a performance, which is within walking distance. The nearby walking environment is also very nice.
About the room
The thoughtful touches catch your eye immediately, with fresh fruit on the table and chilled drinks in the fridge. It's very convenient to order takeout with a delivery robot coming up.
The room is fully equipped with facilities, including wireless charging and a sensor lighting system. The bath series are customized, and the body lotion smells very nice, with a woody scent.
The soundproofing is good, using triple-glazed soundproof windows. I thought it would be noisy, but it wasn't at all.
The breakfast variety is not as rich as a five-star hotel, but it has everything that's needed!!
The hotel also has a gym, swimming pool, and a Pilates room, which is still very rare in hotels, and is a highlight.
About the service
They provide a Nanjing tourist map, which is very considerate. The mini-bar is free and replenished daily, including glass bottles of Voss mineral water and sparkling water.
The lounge is also free during two time periods each day, which is very generous. The breakfast is small but exquisite, semi-buffet style, and tastes very good.

Nanjing Kempinski Hotel / Andaz
The decoration style of Andaz is simple and generous, which most young people would like. There are many places suitable for taking photos, but why is the front desk area for check-in so small and almost in the same area as the bar?
Another point is that the room pictures show a suite, but the actual size is very small, with only one sink and the bathroom cramped together. It's very crowded for two people to stay in, and overall it feels cramped!
When passing by the corridor, I saw the standard rooms, which seem to be larger than the suites. I still recommend the other room types besides the suites.
The breakfast is semi-buffet style where you can order dishes. Overall, the taste is okay.
We only stayed one night at Kempinski and booked the most basic double room. The room size is normal and more spacious, suitable for business people. The decoration style is more of an old-money vibe, but the hotel thoughtfully provided a fridge magnet. There are also pretty spots inside the hotel for taking photos. Overall, it's quite nice.
In conclusion, Andaz is more suitable for young people, and I recommend booking a room with a river view. Kempinski is more suitable for staying with family or elders.~

The hotel is located in the core business district of Hexi New Town, directly above a subway station, with the IFC mall just downstairs, making it convenient for shopping and enjoying delicious food. The hotel staff are young and energetic, responding quickly to guests' needs. For families with children, the sky garden and swimming pool on the 6th floor are great choices. My friends who know me well are aware that I am a hotel enthusiast.
Whenever I visit a city, the first thing I check out is the local hotels. For a weekend trip to Nanjing, my top choice is the Andaz Nanjing Hexi Hotel.
The word “Andaz” originates from Hindi, meaning “personal style”. Compared to W Hotels, Andaz is more casual, inclusive, and has an artistic appeal. Whether it's Shenzhen, Xiamen, or Shanghai, you can find art pieces everywhere in the lobby, skillfully integrating artists' works into the hotel's interior design.
Although I only stayed for one night, every detail here deeply touched me!
The lighting fixtures in every corner of the lobby are all different, and even the design on the back of the room card is like the wall paintings, coming from independent designers.
The design of the check-in desk is not the traditional face-to-face separation, but an open round-table conference style, which narrows the distance between people and makes checking in feel more like 'coming home'.
The decoration and home furnishing of the lounge are also very distinctive, with multiple variations of lines and colors that match well. They even built an 'air garden' on the 6th floor, truly achieving 'carefree casualness and full immersion'.
On the day of my stay, the weather was great, and the sun was generous with its light, which, like dripping crystals, played on the hotel's facade, creating light and shadow that made the abstract space perceptible. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere but the quality is very delicate. The breakfast is the best I've had in any hotel, giving me a magnificent feeling, relaxing the business traveler, and surprising those on a staycation.
For a room price of 1.1k, a suite voucher was used. Recently, the suite was exceptionally renovated and an Andaz River View Suite was provided. The overall ambiance is light and charming, with impeccable details. The room isn't big but has a very high ceiling which makes it feel not at all oppressive. It's the first time I've seen such a generous welcome gift.
🏠Location: Above the IFC Golden Tower, the lobby on the sixth floor leads directly into the shopping mall, and next to it is the convention center.
🍽️Breakfast: The hotel breakfast conquered me for the first time. Every dish has its own appeal, with both looks and taste coexisting. There's nothing sloppy about it, and every item on the à la carte menu could be sold separately.
🏊: There is a 20m children's pool and a massage bubble pool which are very nice.
Even if the price was the same, I might choose Andaz over Ritz-Carlton

You can indeed feel the space is not spacious. As a not-so-low-end brand under Hyatt, the basic room type does not even have a bathtub. The single basin setting also reflects the cramped space.

To be precise, this is the only restaurant in Hexi Andaz Hotel, an open design combined with the lobby bar, without a sense of boundary, the design is quite good. The hotel doesn't seem to have many people during the day, but it is almost full at breakfast time.
1⃣, There is seating and beverage inquiry, the service is quite good. The tea is bagged TWG, and the iced Americano is also acceptable.
2⃣, The breakfast is semi-buffet style, but the a la carte menu is limited, with duck blood vermicelli soup, eggs Benedict and waffles, egg rolls, etc., all of which are basic dishes that should be available in a hotel of Andaz's level.
3⃣, It is said that compared to the opening period, the breakfast of this hotel has been warmly upgraded, the most noticeable is that the noodle stall has lost the highly praised long fish noodles and only left the poorly made pig stomach noodles. The duck blood vermicelli soup tastes quite good, the tofu brain, which I usually don't like, is well seasoned, but the second bowl I ordered lost its standard.
4⃣, The eggs Benedict looks good, but the cooking time of the two eggs is not uniform, one of them is overcooked and cracked after being served. The waffles were quite bad, not only were they inexplicably made with puff pastry, but they were also clearly burnt when they were shaped, and they were inedible.
5⃣, The Chinese hot dish stall has few varieties and no highlights, although the pot stickers are semi-finished, the quality is good, the filling is full and meaty. The steamed bun stall has Jinling big buns, but they are too big for me to dare to take.

Overall, although the breakfast has been reduced, it still meets the Andaz standard.
As for the Andaz lounge, it is quite shabby, located in a small corner near the terrace and elevator, with only three or four tables, fortunately there are few guests, offering all-day tea and coffee, TWG tea bags, two kinds of pastries, happy hour drinks can be ignored, offering two kinds of cakes and one kind of savory dish, although the variety is very limited, but the quality is quite good, the open sandwich is avocado salmon, I ate more than a dozen, the other cheese cake also reached the sale level, filling the stomach is not a problem, but it is indeed the simplest in Andaz in China.

It's hard to describe Andaz Nanjing in a few words. As a loyal fan of Hyatt for many years, I have been eagerly following this hotel since its renovation. Despite the ridicule after its opening, I went through the process of repeatedly booking and cancelling, and finally couldn't resist the unconditional love of a fan for their idol, and checked in late.
Learning from the valuable lessons of others, and to avoid repeating the same old story, I directly paid to upgrade to the Metropolitan Suite, so this experience turned into a completely new script.
The public space of Andaz Nanjing is basically beyond criticism, it continues the exquisite and aesthetic atmosphere created by Andaz Xiamen and Shenzhen. All walls are removed, screens and cabinet-style partitions are used to separate different spaces, and the color scheme is bold and colorful. There is a small garden outside the window, which adds a lot of color in the late autumn.
The Metropolitan Suite I stayed in has a relatively ample living area, ensuring that design and creativity can be better unfolded. Of course, compared to other hotels of the same level, this area is still not enough, but considering the A9 speaker that can be seen as soon as you enter the door, I gritted my teeth and accepted it. The main color scheme of green and orange in the room creates a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. There are various ornaments on the floor-to-ceiling wooden bookshelf, black and white deconstructionist paintings on the green wall, a jade gourd and Jun porcelain tea set hidden in the cabinet, custom-made Nanjing-themed toiletries from the same brand as Andaz Shenzhen, and various little surprises scattered in the corners that can be reached at any time, making my time here delicately enjoyable.
Finally, I want to thank the hotel's front desk manager Derek for his patient and meticulous pre-arrival service. He had everything arranged before I arrived at the hotel, ensuring my trip with the goal of collecting all Andaz brands.

The location is on top of the IFC building, but the IFC is still under construction and the supporting facilities are not yet complete.
As a hotel that just opened in Nanjing this year, the facilities are very new.
This stay was upgraded to a corner room with a 270-degree view, but there really isn't much of a view.
But the hotel has a bar + terrace on the 6th floor for hotel guests to use.
There are free coffee, drinks, and snacks.
I don't know if this is available in all Andaz or just a Nanjing feature.
It makes up for the lack of an executive lounge.
Also, I tried the restaurant at the top of the hotel, it's decent.
It's nice to have a late-night snack, the night view is quite good and the price is very affordable.
Overall, it's worth the price.
