We went directly to Yueyang Tower Scenic Area, where there are also cultural and creative products of Yueyang Tower. We bought a Yueyang Tower keychain (P2), which is super cute!
After leaving Yueyang Tower Scenic Area, we went to Bianhe Street, which is a popular street. After passing through this street, we arrived at Baling Square, which is next to Dongting Lake.
It is recommended to watch the sunset at Dongting Lake, which is beautiful and gives you a sense of peace! It is recommended to walk along the lake, where there are arches on Dongting South Road, which are suitable for taking photos!
Day 2 itinerary: Yueyang China Panda Garden - Yueyang Art Museum - Yueyang Museum
There are nine pavilions in the Panda Garden, with ten panda cubs. We went there at noon, and there were many people, with only two panda cubs playing outdoors. It is recommended to go there earlier, when the panda cubs are more active!
The art museum is on Luosi Island. When we went there, the main exhibition was calligraphy, which was very photogenic! The scenery on the island is also very good, suitable for taking photos. We quickly finished visiting the museum, mainly to learn about the folk culture of Yueyang.

Fire Phoenix Iron Pot Stewed Chicken: The service is super good, and the taste is okay. It is near Yueyang Tower Scenic Area. We ordered the special stewed chicken and signature dried tofu.
Red Lantern Shrimp and Crab City: The barbecue here is very delicious!!! It opens at 3:30 pm, so don't go too early. It is recommended to order roasted potatoes and butter! (It is so delicious that I forgot to take photos, hehe)

The ticket price is 70💰 for adults and 35💰 for students. Next to the ticket office is a pavilion where you can recite the 'Yueyang Tower Essay' to get free admission (if you really can't recite it🤣). The scenic area is not very large, and from the top of Yueyang Tower, you can have a panoramic view of Junshan and Dongting Lake. There is a row of red walls outside, which is very suitable for taking photos. You can also take photos of the Yueyang sign and Yueyang Tower at the bus stop.

It is a great place to watch the sunset by the lake, the sunset over the city tower is absolutely beautiful, and the evening glow is picturesque.

Bianhe Street is a north-south street that enters from the Zhanyue Gate of Baling Square. The first thing that catches your eye is a small square paved with cobblestones. The small square faces Bianhe Street.
Bianhe Street is not ancient, but a newly built ancient street in the style of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It was named Banhe Street because it is near the lake and by the water, and later changed to Bianhe to share the name with the Bianhe River of the Northern Song Dynasty's Bianjing, implying wealth and prosperity. Walking on Bianhe Street is like walking into the bustling old dreams of the Northern Song Dynasty.
