One of the top destinations in Budapest. The Central Hall in Budapest (in Hungarian Nagycsarnok or Vasarcsarnok) was built in 1897, and is the most beautiful, largest and oldest of all Budapest markets. It is a place where you can buy lots of souvenirs, as well as fresh products and local food! Don't forget to try the Chimney Cake! 😋
Tip: Paprika is very popular in Hungary, you can buy it's products as souvenirs.

Traditional market
Great indoor market where you can but a wide assortment of goods from high quality leather, to souvenirs, fruit & veg, jewelry and all in-between. Few nice food options on the top floor. Stone throw away from the Liberty Bridge and the river. MRT nearby. Great to see these kind of places surviving and thriving.

THE GRAND MARKET HALL
Built in 1897, the Great Market Hall in Budapest (in Hungarian Nagycsarnok or Vasarcsarnok) is the most elegant and largest of the Budapest market halls.
On the three floors of Budapest's Great Market Hall, you can buy everything from fruits and vegetables to dairy products, fantastic salamis, pickles, fresh fish, Hungarian paprika, Tokaj wines, various souvenirs, bags, clothes, pans and pots, and even home style meals or Hungarian snacks like Langos.
Hungarian folk cuisine on the first floor of the Great Market Hall in the heart of the city centre with the best goulash in Budapest.
I enjoyed the live music which made my visit even more special.
