Changzhou Ci Shan Temple is a temple with exotic charm, adopting the Dai ethnic group's stilt style (Theravada Buddhism) in its architectural design, which is very characteristic of Southeast Asia. The temple layout is divided into three main areas:
The east axis is the conventional temple hall worship area, equipped with the Heavenly King Hall, side halls on both sides, the Mahavira Hall, and the Pure Land Lecture Hall.
The central axis features the Amitabha Buddha Hall as the temple's iconic building, with the Western Paradise's leading Buddha - Amitabha Buddha - enshrined within.
The west axis has an eight-story nursing home, where charitable prayer and visitation activities are regularly held.
Highlights of the temple include:
Unique architectural style, blending Dai stilt style with Theravada Buddhist elements, full of exotic charm.
Exquisite decorations, the temple's golden dragon sculptures and fifty thousand Amitabha Buddha statues are astonishing.
The temple is moderately sized, with a visit time of about half an hour, suitable for visitors with tight schedules.
Free admission, convenient transportation, free parking at the entrance, suitable for self-driving tours.
The temple's opening hours are from 8 am to 5 pm. It is advised to plan your trip in advance for a better visit and experience.

Don't think it's in Thailand

As soon as I walked in, I was shocked. Everywhere I looked, there were Southeast Asian Buddhist buildings. It is a very beautiful exotic temple. It uses the Yi ethnic group's thousand-railing style, which is the architectural type of Theravada Buddhism. The golden buildings shine under the sun. The corners of the eaves have about 280 golden dragon carvings, which look even more exquisite and spectacular. No wonder many tourists who come here by name will say: 'A glance into Thailand, originally in Changzhou'

Inside the magnificient Cihansi Temple
Went for my morning walk and found this beautiful temple.
It's located in Wujin, Changzhou near the University area.
Walking around you can hear the monks in prayer and other visits partaking.
I love the building designs they remind me of the temples in Thailand. But, the statues and ceilings inside the buildings are even more beautiful.
