The Wasabi Farm🫶🏻
#japantrip The place is really nice and I had a chance to try some different foods. Wasabi flavored ice cream, freshly grated wasabi ( you have to make it yourself) with a meal and wasabi flavored snacks. The place was full of different types of trees and Sakura was in full bloom today. Overall I had a nice experience. This place has a free parking spot and souvenir store, restaurants and cafes.

【Nagano Prefecture】Touring the Daio Wasabi Farm!
Originally a wilderness overgrown with weeds, it was created through a major project that took 20 years to complete. It is a 'wasabi farm' that uses water springing up in a corner of Azumino, which passes under the alluvial fan as groundwater from the melting snow of the rich Northern Alps.
Admission is free, so please stop by when you're touring. The wasabi soft-serve ice cream made with wasabi cultivated at the Daio Wasabi Farm was superb!

Daio Wasabi Farm, Nagano 🇯🇵
#thingstodo
When visiting Nagano Prefecture about 3 hours train ride from Tokyo Japan, the Daio Wasabi Farm is a must-visit.
The Daio Wasabi Farm is quite huge, and it has covered an entire river bed to give the wasabi plant shade. It also provides a lot of interesting information about how wasabi is grown and harvested.
Highly recommended!
My rating: 4 ⭐️ out of 5!

Daio Wasabi Farm
#2024wish Entrance is free. Had a walk around the wasabi plantation & bought a wasabi ice cream to try. It was a very pleasant visit filled with local tourists. Would recommend dropping by.Fun area to explore. Lots of walking trails and interesting points along the way. The field is covered by black tarps in the summer to protect the wasabi plants so it may be better to visit during another season.
I wish to travel more in 2024
