Choosing where to stay on my first visit to Tokyo was the biggest concern at the time. After looking at the map and consulting friends in Tokyo, I finally chose the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku in Shinjuku. Geographical advantages: 1. The location is very bustling, and the transportation is very convenient; 2. The hotel offers good value for money, small but well-equipped, with separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom; 3. There are convenience stores, drugstores, and various dining options right downstairs, which is very convenient; 4. You can check in at the Kabukicho landmark - Godzilla Hotel, where you can also buy Godzilla merchandise and have close encounters with Godzilla, but be mindful of the time; 5. Next to the hotel is the newest landmark of Shinjuku, with a very cyberpunk vibe, perfect for a stroll in the evening. Disadvantages: 1. It might be a bit hard to find for the first time, as the hotel reception is on the 8th floor (specific route: after seeing Godzilla, enter the entrance, keep going straight, after seeing the convenience store, go straight and then turn right, the elevator goes directly to the 8th floor); 2. The rooms are slightly smaller compared to those in China. Other: 1. The area is Tokyo's red-light district, but it does not affect tourists at all; 2. When choosing a hotel room, opt for a twin room (two beds), it's too cramped for two people in a double room.

The bathroom is clean and well-equipped with a shower and bathtub, offering various toiletries that made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. In addition to this, the hotel provides thoughtful services and amenities such as 24-hour front desk reception, luggage storage, and laundry service, which I found very convenient. The hotel's prime location is surrounded by many restaurants, shopping centers, and attractions, and the transportation is very convenient, allowing me to easily explore the charm of the Shinjuku area. Overall, the luxury twin room at the Glacey Shinjuku Hotel provided me with a comfortable and delightful living environment, enabling me to have a pleasant time in Tokyo.

How to get a close look at Godzilla?~ The hotel's main entrance is quite hidden, next to the FamilyMart convenience store. Take the elevator to the check-in floor, where a row of posters on the wall ranges from the original Godzilla to the latest Godzilla movies🎦, and there's also a large Godzilla model. The lobby has a large terrace where you can directly see Godzilla, but currently, the terrace is inaccessible, blocked by a fence, probably under repair. Otherwise, you could get a close view of Godzilla~ Overall, the Gracery Hotel stands out for its location and novelty, having a Godzilla head, and being right in Kabukicho, where the nightlife is also very interesting. ⚠️ Downside: The rooms are too small. I booked a double room, and although it's fully equipped, the space between the bed and the aisle is so narrow that even a larger suitcase🧳 can't be opened, and it's not recommended for those with children. Even in a twin room, the beds are just two 1.2m beds🛏. But the food downstairs is really good. If you want seafood, you can go to Ijimaru Suisan (there are two). Shopping is also convenient, but if you require a spacious room, then it's not necessary~

The location of the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is very convenient. It can let you travel to anywhere in Tokyo easily. You can enjoy different recipes there and many restaurants open 24 hours a day! I must stay there again next time.
