The "Lee Tung Street" in Hong Kong is a must-visit place
This time, I quickly made a trip to Hong Kong again💓
I went straight to the popular Wan Chai Lee Tung Street in recent years, which used to be the "Wedding Card Street"~
Yes!! It's the well-known Wedding Card Street😆
And if you come here during the Mid-Autumn Festival, you can't miss this place!
Over 800 lanterns are lit at the same time, the full lanterns are the most Mid-Autumn Festival flavor~and also add a bit more Hong Kong flavor~
In addition to the fiery red lanterns, there is also the popular Thai shaved ice shop After You Dessert Café✔️
Even friends from Thailand highly recommend it!
I tried the signature Thai milk tea shaved ice🍧The ice is very fine~it melts as soon as it enters the mouth! The texture is very smooth😆😆
I dare to say, it's the best shaved ice I've ever had...!!
I also tried a crepe specialty store from Canada, Crepe Delicious
Those who like crepes should have heard of this one, right?!
I ordered a smoked salmon avocado crepe, a thick piece of salmon!! A big satisfaction in one bite😆
And you can taste the freshness of the ingredients👍
When I went to the customer service, I showed my foreign passport and entry proof~I could also exchange for a beautiful small lantern~💓

Lee Tung Avenue ready for Christmas!
Lee Tung Avenue is one of the most gorgeous pedestrian street in Hongkong island and I loved the big red lanterns that are often hanging up in the air. The decoration might be different in different times of the year. The street is usually quite instagramable and there are several cafes and restaurants worth visiting in this street.

Seasonal Theme Avenue
If you wanna chill out for a seasonal celebration, stroll through Lee Tung Avenue in Wanchai. It is located next to the Wanchai MTR station exit A3. You can also go through exit D to find this short open-air pedestrian shopping center.
There are many cafes and restaurants along the Avenue for your dining, and you can complete your experience by taking photos of the beautiful seasonal decoration. I came here during the mid-autumn festival season and will go again for other celebrations in the future.

Neon Lights of Hong Kong
The signature neon lights of Hong Kong are slowly but surely turning into LEDs and it’s night life is becoming more tame, yet HK still holds its charm. It still amazes me how well this city works with the different blends of cultures that left their mark on HK.
🍜 DimSum - First off. the food is amazing. I would highly reccomend the traditional HK Dim Sum close to the Center of the city in the main island. the portions are great and you could defnintly spend a whole afternoon there. We ordered a couple of rounds of food and ended up staying for 6 hours. Typical HK fashion 😅
🗼Architecture - Also make sure to admire the architecture when in HK. the buildings are placed and designed in a way to promote fengshui. If you look closely you will see holes in skyscrapers to promote air circulation and stop wind tunnels from forming. But legend has it that they are there for the dragon spirits to pass through more easily.
🚃 Trams- The double decker trams are a great way to see the city and a working representation of its British past. It was nice to see them and very easy to use. definitely take a ride when you are there.
🏉 Rugby 7s - One time to come to Honk Kong would be during the rugby 7s. Definitly not a time to come if you are looking to relax. The city goes crazy and everyone parties on the street. Nice lively atmosphere and if you get the chance go buy a ticket for the rugby games. make sure not to by a ticket for the north stand if you don’t want to be poured with beer!
🤵🏻♀️The People - The people are truly amazing. they are fast paced but friendly and very entertaining. make sure to check out the market places. You’ll be able to buy sea urchins which is a delicacy but a good souvenir.
Hong Kong has amazed me, and it’s a must see when in Asia. 🙂

We don't get much snow in #hongkong, so it was really touching to see this sort of thing on display. The "snow" here was really just bubbles; but I thought it did a convincing job in the photo. Lee Tung Ave is usually always lively. This year of course everything's different. One tip is to grab coffee elsewhere, the cafes on the street are a bit pricey. #staycation

Wan Chai | Excellent Atmosphere. Charcoal Rabbit.
The food, environment, and atmosphere here are just like in Japan. The restaurant also creates a great vibe, singing birthday songs for celebrations, and the chefs and staff will toast with the guests.
🐟 Charcoal-grilled Bonito $98
The restaurant's fresh fish of the day - bonito, is grilled by the chef with straw and Binchotan charcoal to a semi-cooked state, giving it a smoky aroma and a fresh taste of the fish.
🌯 Ginger Scallion Vinegared Mackerel Roll $98
Wrapped with kelp, young ginger, scallions, shiso leaves, and mackerel, it's quite fresh with a strong ginger taste.
🥘 Yamaimo Mentaiko Teppanyaki $78
The yamaimo is turned into a puree with a smooth and sticky texture, containing pieces of octopus, mentaiko, and raw egg to enhance the texture.
🍮 Hokkaido Pudding $38
The pudding is made by a Japanese chef, with a lovely vanilla and milk flavor. Although the texture is not as smooth as the puddings in Japan, the taste is very good.

Citywalk in Wan Chai, Hong Kong|Wedding Card Street
Lee Tung Street.
Lee Tung Street, commonly known as Wedding Card Street or Printing Street in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, is a well-known place for the production and retail of printed materials, especially famous for wedding cards.
"Just like this area, it used to be considered the happiest place in the world, but in a blink of an eye, the whole street is almost full of crows...." The song "Wedding Card Street" in the album "Binary" by Hong Kong singer Kay Tse is based on the redevelopment of this street. In the 1980s, almost every couple in Hong Kong who were getting married would come to Wedding Card Street to buy wedding supplies, it carries the memories of the people of Wan Chai. Most of the buildings on Lee Tung Street are Tong Lau from the 1950s to 1960s, which are uniform and have traditional characteristics.
🌟Highlights:
The current Lee Tung Street has been completely transformed, the approximately 200-meter-long tree-lined pedestrian street has turned into a street full of European colors, and the romantic scene of the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures has become a new landmark in Hong Kong.
Here gathers Hong Kong's characteristic food and innovative restaurants of various countries, as well as foreign trendy brands, from clothing, accessories to famous kitchenware, everything is available, whether it's casual shopping or a feast of gourmet food.
There is also a special store for childhood memories of Astro Boy and various interesting market stalls.
There are outdoor tea seats on both sides of the street, providing a place for pedestrians to rest. Sitting by the street and watching the passers-by, it reminds people of the bustling scene of "Wedding Card Street" in the past.
When night falls, various lanterns🏮 light up, creating a festive atmosphere and attracting many people to take pictures📷
