A hidden gem hotel for a niche family outing and water fun around Chengdu
I've been eyeing this hotel for a long time and finally had the time to visit.
The location is in Baimaquan Village, Jintang County, just a 1h drive from Chengdu.
We booked a private family villa with hot spring 🏠, all decked out in an adorable little yellow duck theme. The living room has a tent and building blocks that the kids really enjoyed.
Outside the living room is a yard with a lawn, perfect for a picnic 🧺 on a nice day.
The room comes with a picnic mat and basket, and you can also have a barbecue or hot pot in the yard. The room's facilities are top-notch.
The hotel also offers plenty of family activities, such as DIY crafts, archery, ring toss, sand play, and pitching pots. There's no need to worry about how to entertain the kids; they won't want to leave!
🍃Summer is here, and how can we miss out on water activities? There's kayaking, fishing with nets (clothes provided by the hotel), bamboo rafting, fishing, and hand-rowing boats. There are so many activities, you can play for a long time.
🍽️The Chinese food tastes good, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options.
There's Sanxingdui nearby, which is worth a visit after checking out.

🏠 About the hotel:
The hotel is designed with a courtyard style, surrounded by pristine natural countryside scenery, and there are plenty of hot springs ♨️ private pools. Waking up in the morning, pushing the window open, you can see the greenery and hear the crisp sounds of birds and cicadas, as if everything has returned to childhood, this feeling is intimate and warm~
We stayed in a detached villa, with 2 parking spaces at the door, the room layout is very reasonable, with a large living room, 2 bathrooms, and a private courtyard hot spring pool. In the evening, if you don't want to go to the hot spring area, the family can soak in the hot spring in their own yard, chat, and eat barbecue, which is so romantic!
💛 About family activities:
When traveling with kids, what I care about the most are family activities. Here, there are kid-favorite activities like boating, playing in the sand, fishing, plant printing, ring tossing, archery, and pool bubble parties, as well as expert-recommended family bikes, bamboo rafts, and more. My son had so much fun here, he was asking when we could come back before we even left the hotel, saying this was the most interesting hotel he has stayed in.

The hotel is picturesque at every turn, and you can easily snap beautiful photos. You can also borrow a set of Hanfu for free in the hot spring area and take a series of beautiful ancient-style photos. Recommended photo spots include the entrance of the villa area, the bridge over the fishing area, the private hot spring pools, and so on.

In the evening, we had a hot spring black goat hotpot, the ingredients were fresh, and a meal for two was enough for three people, the taste was also very light, very suitable for children. The buffet breakfast was also very rich~
On the second day, you can also visit the nearby Sanxingdui, and if you need a guide, be sure to book one day in advance.

I finally checked into this long-coveted hot spring hotel,
we booked a family villa, which was super cozy and cute, with little yellow ducks, building blocks, tents... details everywhere💕
The villa's big yard➕private hot spring gave me the illusion of being in Sanya, and the hotel also prepared a picnic basket and mat, lying on the lawn in the yard, enjoying a leisurely afternoon tea, watching the sunlight and shadows, listening to the birds and cicadas～even the urban hustle and bustle felt healed～

This time we planned a one-day trip to Jintang.
My husband has been longing for Haiquan Bay.
We booked a standalone villa suite.
