A lift built in 1902 😮🇵🇹
#timetotravel
Santa Justa Lift was built in the 1902 to connect the lower part of the town to the upper part of the town.
We visited during the late afternoon and there was a queue to get tickets at the box office. Although the queue passes quite quickly, if you hate to queue it is perhaps better to go in the morning when they open!! Or, alternatively, you could walk up to the observation deck in the upper part of the town if you wish to avoid the crowd.
I personally quite enjoy the elevator ride, as it is the perfect blend of history and modernity. The observation deck no doubts offers amazing views of lisbon, how cute are all the houses with the brick red roof!!
I would recommend taking the lift if you’re in Lisbon if the queue is not ridiculously long!! But one way or the other, you definitely should go up to the observation deck on the upper part of the town!!

Santa Justa Lift is located in R. do Ouro, 1150-060 Lisboa, and it is open daily from 0700-2230.The nearest metro station is Baixa-Chiado, around 200 meters 2 minutes walk.
In the heart of historical Lisbon, connect the lower neighborhood of Baixa to the top near the Camo Convent. The cabin of the lift is made of wood, with a ticket scanning machine on it, when you exit at the top, the view is blocked by a net. You need to climb a few steps to reach the open viewing platform with 360 views. The viewing platform is accessed by a narrow staircase,
Inaugurated in 1902, Santa Justa Lift is a landmark of Lisbon, and offers splendid views all around the rooftops.

Lisbon ancient tram ride Raiders h
Lisbon has the oldest tram

old tram such as the same light shuttle
from the past Until now, open to the future. The
old tram originated in 1872. In the wave of the closure of trams in Europe in the last century, Lisbon stopped most of the tram lines, eventually retaining 5 lines and about 60 old trams. It is now the most beautiful in Lisbon. Scenery. Its route covers almost all the sights of the old town, from churches to castles to squares, ancient buildings, window sills with flowers, and courtyards filled with clothes, all in one sight.
28 tram ride Raiders
1, ride early in the day (or later) to avoid the peak. Operating hours: 6 am - 10:30
2 , get on the starting point Martim Moniz or Campo Ourique, there is a big chance.
3, you should be alert to the thief during the whole journey of the tram (I was opened by the thief when I was sitting for the first time, but I found it in time)
4, it is more cost-effective to buy a 24-hour pass.

Santa Justa Lift Lisbon 🇵🇹
#timetotravel
My experience at the Santa Justa Lift in Lisbon was a thrilling journey to new heights and captivating views. Nestled in the heart of the city, this iconic elevator welcomed me with its unique design and historical significance. As I ascended to the top and stepped onto the panoramic terrace, a sense of wonder and excitement enveloped me. The sweeping vistas of Lisbon's charming streets, the Tagus River, and the distant hills were truly breathtaking. The Santa Justa Lift's central location and its connection to Lisbon's urban fabric made it an essential stop for visitors. It wasn't just an elevator; it was a vertical adventure that offered a fresh perspective of the city's beauty and a memorable way to appreciate its architectural and natural landmarks, leaving me captivated by its enchanting charm.
