[2025 Sapporo Attraction] Travel Guide for Sapporo Art Park (Updated Feb)

Located below the Namboku Line in Sapporo, this art park with a museum is too vast to explore on foot in just half a day. Renting a car would be a better option, but walking around and enjoying the scenery was also wonderful at the end of September. Starting from the museum, it was fun to explore the uphill courses one by one. It seems to be a great place for locals to go on dates. It's a place that both locals and tourists, whether foreign or domestic, would love.

#thingstodo Fun for a 2 or 3 hour activity on a nice day, the Sapporo Art Park has a lot going on. The feature both traveling exhibits (The Making of Pixar was the outside exhibit when we visited), along with a sculpture garden. The park itself is free to enter (though parking is a flat ¥500), but the other exhibits and sculpture garden charge for admission. At the time of our visit, the sculpture garden was ¥700. Well worth a visit, particularly with kids!

I felt like a child entering a world of wonder. The fact that it’s out in nature between beautiful trees and forest made the visit all the more special. A great day out!
