Tokyo trip | Sensoji kimono experience
#Tokyo Attractions
One of the must-visit attractions in Tokyo is Sensoji Temple, the most familiar of which is the "Remon" big lantern, and the "Nakami Setong Shopping Street" full of traditional Japanese snacks, so many tourists will experience the kimono to Asakusa Take photos at the temple!
There are many kimono rental shops near Asakusa, and if you want a photographer, you need to make an appointment in advance. It turns out that there are many kinds of kimono choices now, not so single, you can choose your favorite clothing according to your preferences. I think the flower makeup can come by yourself, but it is best to choose those including the set head, choose clothes to change clothes set head about 1 hour, before 4:30 pm to return the clothes.
As it turns out, it is a must-visit attraction. Once you get to the "Jingjian Shitong Shopping Street", it is crowded with people. It's hard to take a picture. Walk all the way to the end and you will reach Sensoji Temple. Although there are many people in the temple, I can't help but keep taking pictures, and some anime and manga plots will float in my mind, which is quite beautiful... except for "Jiji Shitong Shopping Street" and "Sakusoji Temple", walk around the periphery Once you leave, you'll find photo spots!

Came to Japan for six days, and only then did I realize how great Shanghai is!
After six days in Japan, it feels so good to land in Shanghai today!
✔️ Finally, I don't have to smile and nod to everyone, being overly polite to everyone . When I first arrived in Japan, I thought the Japanese were too polite, with a strong sense of service. After a few days, it felt too exhausting to keep up the act, constantly saying thank you so much, arigato...
✔️ Finally, I don't have to stay in a very small hotel anymore, though being poor is my problem~
✔️ Finally, I don't have to hesitate to take a taxi; taxis here are really expensive. It cost nearly 500 RMB to take a taxi from Haneda Airport to the Akasaka hotel. However, Japan's subway and bus systems are very developed, and you can get to where you want to go using public transportation.
✔️ Finally, I can eat watermelon and other fruits in big bites. Fruits here are quite expensive, displayed very delicately, and taste very good. Back home, I will eat fruits to my heart's content.
✔️ Finally, I can walk on the street while drinking coffee and eating. In Japan, you don't see people eating on the streets, and even in shopping malls, you have to eat in designated areas. Once, we bought egg tarts and couldn't find a place to eat them all the way. We took them to a restaurant for lunch, thinking we could finally eat them, but the waiter told us we couldn't eat outside food.
Of course, the service industry in Japan is really great, the restrooms are incredibly clean, everyone follows the rules, and everything is done with great care. It's worth coming to visit, to learn from their strengths and use them to our advantage.
In the next few days after returning home, I will definitely go for some hot pot

New Year's Eve experience at Sensoji Temple in Tokyo, Japan, where you can eat, play and take photos!
#100 Ways to Travel
When you travel to Tokyo, don’t you go to the popular attraction # Sensoji Temple and take a photo of the landmark #Thundermon? It seems like you have never been to Tokyo? As the oldest temple in Tokyo, it was built to enshrine the Holy Goddess of Mercy. It has continued to be popular. Now it is the number one must-visit tourist attraction in Tokyo. No matter how many times you come, you always have to take a photo with the lanterns of Kaminarimon and stroll around. Zhongshitong Shopping Street, please sign for good luck.
But this time is different, I came to Sensoji Temple to participate in the New Year’s Eve countdown! The New Year's Eve in Tokyo is actually calmer than expected. Only major temples will have night worship activities, and all the vendors and snacks that are not usually seen will be available, turning Sensoji Temple into a lively night market, especially the barbecue stalls, which are full of aroma and smoke. It’s full of Shitamachi style painting!
It really doesn’t matter. It’s packed with people an hour before New Year’s Eve. On the closed road, some people are lining up to worship, some are buying barbecue from stalls, some are riding rickshaws, and even more Many people were taking pictures of the Skytree Tower, chatting and waiting for the countdown. It was really a gathering of people from all over the world, gearing up for the countdown to welcome the New Year!
After 54321 Happy New Year, there are no fireworks or performances, only the calm sound of bells to cleanse the soul, and people are prepared to take the subway to renew their stalls or go back to the hotel. It is really a special New Year's Eve experience in Tokyo.

Asakusa at night vs during the day!
🌙There won’t be too many people in Asakusa at night, and you can also draw lots! Take a stroll and enjoy the night view
☀️Asakusa will be very crowded after 9-10 o'clock in the morning! It’s so crowded, especially on holidays 🚨It’s highly recommended to take pictures before then 🙂 But most stores only open after 9-10 o’clock, so you have to measure your own time arrangements👍🏻

Asakusa Temple Visit: Continuous great luck, full of desserts!
A few days ago, I embarked on a small journey to Asakusa Temple. 🏞️ Asakusa Temple, this historic temple, always makes people feel peaceful and harmonious. As soon as I entered the temple, I was attracted by the simple atmosphere, as if time had slowed down.
⛩️ During the worship, I got great luck twice in a row! Good omens are continuous, is it particularly destined with Asakusa Temple? 😊 Every time I get great luck, it makes me feel that this trip is full of mysterious little happiness.
Of course, the fun of travel is not only about worship. In the small alley near Asakusa Temple, I found a small dessert shop. The desserts there are really delicious to explode! 😋 A bite down, the sweet happiness spread in the mouth, it really makes people feel extremely satisfied and happy.
This trip to Asakusa Temple is really full of gains. Not only did I get great luck, but I also tasted delicious desserts. I hope I can continue this wonderful fate with Asakusa Temple next time.

Japan Travels: Sensō-ji, Asakusa Tokyo
One of the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo and a famous visiting spot for locals / tourists. It’s iconic for its huge lantern known as Kaminarimon at the front of the street entrance into the temple, it’s difficult not to miss it and also the three lanterns gate also known as Hozomon Gate after walking past the entrance.
After passing through the gates, we walked into Nakamise-dori Street which is packed with local vendors for food, merchandises and traditional goods. It’s famous for its variety of snacks and we saw some stalls selling face masks. We walked around and further in, noticing a good spot where we can see the Tokyo Skytree tower.
The Sensoji temple is located at the end of the long street path, we finally reached and witness its magnificent sight at its finest. The temple was beautiful and holy, we toss a coin and give our prayers. We also spotted a tall pagoda building at the side too.
After visiting the temple sites, we walked to Denboin Garden where it’s located nearby the Sensoji temple. It’s a beautiful garden with a nice relaxing scenery to enjoy the mother nature of Japan. There are also some historical tombs, statues and a mini bridge next to the temple to study more history of its place.

Sensoji Tokyo’s Most Beautiful Temple
Sensoji is a Buddhist temple, also known as Asakusa Kannon Temple, which is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Tokyo.
What I love most about this temple is the huge wall that surrounds it. Visitors who stop by Sensoji Temple enter from Kaminarimon, or Thunder Gate, which separates Sensoji Temple from Tokyo. A street that will greet you directly beyond the outer walls of the shrine is known as Nakamise, lined with small shops selling all kinds of traditional goods and souvenirs.
This shopping area has existed within the temple grounds for centuries, and has played an important role in sustaining culture in Sensoji. Famous traditional Japanese snacks are sold here. These snacks are delicious and fun to eat while exploring the shrine grounds.

The deep fried mochi was really good! Super long queue but fast service. The architecture in the temple is very beautiful and serene, especially in autumn when the leaves of the trees turn red. I saw a few people dressed up in traditional Japanese costumes for a photoshoot. Remember to take a picture with the gigantic red lantern which can easily be seen once you enter the "Thunder Gate". It’s free entrance. You may spend 100 yen (S$1) for a fortune stick to see your luck in coming year. There was a walkway which you can see Tokyo Skytree from the temple, a great spot for photo taking.

Tokyo ‘s Oldest Temple
#meettokyo
Tokyo's oldest temple, also known as Asakusa Kannon Temple) is a Buddhist temple located in Asakusa. Awesome place to go see. A must go destination in Tokyo. A long shopping street leading to the temple is nice for photos or souvenirs. I was amazed on my first visit the temple by the great structure and traditional design. It is a touristy place. Shopkeepers speak English.
Highly recommended!!

One of the oldest temple in Tokyo
#bucketlistreboot
This striking Buddhist temple is one of Tokyo's oldest, dating back to 645 CE and dedicated to the Goddess Kannon. According to legend, in 628 CE, two brothers discovered a small statue of the goddess in the Sumida River, which miraculously returned to them each time the idol was submerged. The magnificent Kaminarimon, or Thunder Gate, guards the approach to Kinry-Zan Sens-Ji, its most distinguishing feature being a massive paper lantern painted in red and black to resemble a storm cloud. Beyond this is the Nakamise, a colorful path lined with stalls selling crafts and snacks. The temple is a magnificent sight in itself; its main hall is a grand spectacle replete with intricate details, and large paper lanterns strung from the ceiling are held up by towering columns. The shrine, set alongside a five-tiered pagoda, is a vibrant place of worship and one of the city's most well-known.
