#Shanghai Bowu NAMIYA Private Tang Courtyard Homestay Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Shanghai! A budget-friendly private hot spring hotel where my boyfriend and I can stay indefinitely
After returning to the country, I started this guesthouse. You can tell that a lot of thought and effort have been put into everything from the decor to the service.
——— Our group of four people and four dogs stayed in the 'Courtyard Hot Spring Family Suite', and the staff didn't show any signs of disgust or impatience when they saw our large party.
❤Recommended reasons:
. ✅The location really wins my heart, right on the Bund in Shanghai! It's peaceful amidst the hustle and bustle! The surrounding area is very quiet, and it's only a 200m walk to the Huaihai Road subway station, with a large shopping district nearby! Transportation is very convenient, and most attractions are within two kilometers. Staying here while traveling in Shanghai is super convenient.
✅The retro-style old Shanghai design with large floor-to-ceiling windows~ The rooms are spacious and comfortable with great natural light. If you don't feel like going out, you can just snuggle in bed and soak up the sun while binge-watching shows~ It's really a great value for money hotel in Shanghai.
✅The room is fully equipped with facilities including a microwave, refrigerator, clothes rack, and a small balcony. The bedding is disinfected for each guest, and the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas. There's also 24-hour security at the door, ensuring both safety and privacy. Plus, there's even a washing machine with a drying function~ So considerate.

Pet-friendly Japanese-style private guesthouse
Pet-friendly Japanese-style private guesthouse
NAMIYA, a private guesthouse on Chongming Island in Shanghai, has quite spacious rooms with both indoor and outdoor hot spring pools. There's a private courtyard in the backyard where dogs can play freely! It's recommended to choose a sunny day to go for better scenery.
Guests are offered complimentary breakfast and lunch set meals, and you can also take a meal back to your room. The portion for lunch isn't very large, so you might want to order some extra dishes, but the taste is all good!
Because it's Japanese-style, the tables and chairs in the guesthouse are quite low, which might be difficult for elderly people with mobility issues to sit down. If you're going, you might want to bring an extra chair for them!

Chongming homestay, a treasure shop
Accidentally discovered a treasure shop, it is a pure Japanese-style homestay, the design in the room is great, a whole tatami is very comfortable, this time it is a private soup room for two people, the housekeeper said that there are rooms inside and outside together if there are many people, wait for some time to invite a few friends to go again, really highly recommend, the photos are very good!!!
