#Songhua River Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
The Diamond Sea is open for free, this is Harbin's unique romance
Once winter comes, Harbin turns into a romantic ice city,
Not just the Ice and Snow World,
The Diamond Sea on the surface of the Songhua River is also worth looking forward to,
It was once banned from entering, but now it is reopened for free,
Those who want to go can rush,
At sunrise or sunset,
The ice blocks under the refraction of the sun are like shiny 💎 diamonds.
-
📍Navigate to the 'Beach Tribe', after getting off the car, walk towards the river from the parking lot on one side, there will be no security guards to stop.
⏰Recently, a lot of little potatoes from the south have checked in at the Diamond Sea. If you want to avoid the crowd, try to go before 8:30 in the morning. The sunrise (7:00-8:00) and sunset (3:00-4:00) are very photogenic, and the backlight shooting is super beautiful.
📷Bring a drone, the Diamond Sea shot from the air is even more shocking.
❄️Be sure to keep warm, bring hats, gloves, scarves🧣, etc.
🥾Be careful when taking pictures, the ice surface under your feet is very slippery.

It's not Iceland, it's the exclusive Diamond Sea in Harbin
Harbin's Diamond Sea is open again!!! When my friend came a few days ago, the Ice and Snow World was about to open, and the Diamond Sea, as their ice mining site, was temporarily closed for safety.
The Ice and Snow World is now open, so the Diamond Sea is open to the public again! Standing on the frozen Songhua River, looking at the large piece of Diamond Sea in front of you, you really feel like you're in Iceland.
Location: Beach Tribe. There are enthusiastic Harbin staff at the entrance to guide you, and you'll get there quickly if you go straight down.
Transportation: There is a parking lot at the entrance, and it takes only twenty or thirty minutes to take a taxi from the city. Admission: FREE
Travel route
Safety issues: The Diamond Sea is now an official attraction, with a sign directly at the entrance, and staff at the entrance to guide you. It's definitely safe for tourists to enter, and the temperature in January is already below twenty degrees, so the ice is very solid. Don't worry too much, but if the weather warms up and the authorities don't let you in, don't go!
2 Because the sun sets in Harbin at three o'clock, the best shooting time is then. The sun shines on the ice blocks and it really shines! But because I was going to the Ice and Snow World in the afternoon, I went to the Diamond Sea at noon. The light is strong but you can still take pictures.
3 The Ice and Snow World is a ten-minute walk from here. If time permits, I suggest you play together, so you don't have to come twice.
Precautions:
You must wear more clothes. The weather in Harbin is really not a joke at minus twenty degrees! It's really cold! Warm baby, down jacket, hat, scarf, gloves, none can be less! It is recommended to buy a pair of gloves that can be used for taking pictures. Don't ask me why, I just didn't buy it and my hands were numb from the cold. Every time I press the shutter, I have to take off my gloves, but here you can't take off your gloves for half a minute!

Exciting! This year's Harbin Ice and Snow World is the largest in history
For the nostalgia of Harbin, Ice and Snow World!
It is said that this year's Ice and Snow World covers an area of 810,000 square meters, with an ice construction area of 610,000 square meters, which will be the largest in history!
The big slide has been fully upgraded, from 8 slides to 14!
Prepare your strategy in advance! Hurry up and remember it, friends!
⏰Opening hours: Late December, every day 11:00-22:00. It is estimated that the lights will be turned on from 16:00 to 16:30.
It is recommended to enter the park between 12-2 o'clock, you can take pictures of the Ice and Snow World under the sun, and you can watch the sunset after playing two projects at 4 o'clock.
Transportation:
🚇Subway Line 2, Ice and Snow World Station Exit 3
🚌Bus 88, 125, 119, 126
🚕Take a taxi, not far from the city
👀Tourist projects:
❶Snowflake Ferris Wheel (120m high, overlooking the scenery on both sides of the river)
❷Extreme Big Slide (the deserved king of the queue, 500m long slide, experience the thrill of speed)
❸Dream Big Stage (Dance to the rhythm of MC Left and Right Brother)
In addition, there are ice bikes, snow circles, ice performances, etc., which are very lively.
📸Share a few photo spots:
✔Take a picture of the Ferris wheel at the ice sculpture
✔Take a picture from the top of the slide
✔Central ice sculpture
👉🏻Dressing suggestions:
The temperature in the park is a few degrees lower than outside, gloves, hats, ear bags, cotton shoes, cotton pants should be prepared to prevent frostbite!
👉🏻It is recommended to wear thermal underwear + thermal liner + down jacket + windproof warm pants + snow boots
Prepare enough warm babies, both body and phone need.
❗️Other tips:
▼About warm clothing, because very warm clothing is needed, many people may not need it after playing, it is recommended to buy it at the local clothing wholesale market, the price is cheap and the key is very warm!
▼About eating, you must try Northeast iron pot stew, barbecue, spicy hot, Russian meal... The portion is very large! Affordable! Taste.
▼Candied haws and popsicles are not recommended to eat outdoors, they really can't bite.
▼About playing, Ice and Snow World first make an appointment for the slide and Ferris wheel, there are many people! In addition to the Ice and Snow World, you can also go to the Songhua River Ice Field to check in, which is very photogenic, 10 minutes drive from the Ice and Snow World, navigate to the Beach Tribe.
▼Don't miss Harbin Pharmaceutical Factory No. 6, Sofia Church, and Central Street.

Snapshots from my trip to Harbin
p1-5 Ice and Snow World
p6 Saint Sophia Cathedral
p7-9 Songhua River
👍Most recommended: It's suggested to stay near a subway station,
👎Least recommended: It's not recommended to stay on Central Street, Harbin is very popular this year, firstly, the accommodation on Central Street is seriously overpriced, secondly, it's crowded and hard to get a taxi & very congested

Visit St Sophia Church, Ice & Snow Carnival
#harbintrip #vianasjourney #couplestrip
Saint Sophia’s Church is one of the iconic building in central Harbin. I saw plenty of visitors rent angel’s costume from nearby shop to create more exciting experience and pictures. I would recommend to visit this church both during day and night because during the day, you’ll see how sophisticated the architecture is but during the night, it’s look alive and more fun. Apart from this place, you can spend the rest of your day at Songhua river and participated with the ice and snow carnival. Plenty of activities are available such as snow slide (cost me 30rmb), cable car across the river, horse and boat riding, or you can also get into this banana boat and a car will drive you around the area. Stalls of food is available at the carnival, medical staff are available around as well incase needed for emergency. Note that toilets are a bit of walk from the area.

Harbin travel, advice for southern 'small potatoes'
Harbin's debut, a bit different from the imagined snow-covered scene❄️! I thought it was snowing everywhere, and the European-style buildings were like a fairy tale world, but Harbin in mid-December was cold but not as expected. Remember when you come here, the prices of the vendors' goods are very 'sky-high', bargaining is a must!
✈️When you arrive at Harbin Airport, don't expect a subway to the city, you can only rely on airport buses or pre-booked rideshares. For those who need to catch a flight, don't forget to generously allow more time - I almost missed my flight due to a rideshare no-show.
🏛 The area around Sofia Church is crowded with people and vehicles, and the price of candied haws on the small stalls is frighteningly high, 25 yuan per skewer! After reasonable bargaining, you can get it for 5 to 15 yuan. This is a hot spot for check-ins, and you need to lower the camera angle to shoot upwards, whether it's day or night.
🌄 The sunset and fireworks by the Songhua River are simply too good! I took some very atmospheric photos there. Although there is a cable car, I don't think it's worth shooting. It's better to shoot the cable car and the sunset on the shore.
🔥 The fairy sticks on the street are a bit expensive, 15 yuan for 8, but they really make the photos shine! The roasted sausages are also 15 yuan each, and they taste great. If you want to experience snow drifting, you have to bargain down to 20 yuan. As for the snow ring, forget it, 30 yuan can play unlimited.
❄️ There are not as many people in the Ice and Snow World as before, and it is still busy carving. If you want to capture those big ice blocks, you really need some skills. I flew a drone 'quietly' in.
📸 Under the auxiliary road of the highway bridge in Songbei District, I captured a photo that seems to come from another time and space. As for viewing the snow scene, I recommend the park behind Harbin University (Window of Eurasia), where there is a moving castle scene, and the nearby woods are also a holy place for photography.
🛁 About bathing, I went to two places in three days. Although Lanting Shuihui has a full-service fruit bath, the cost-effectiveness is not high, and girls have to face a queue of 30 minutes. The cost-effectiveness of Muqing Soup Spring is very high. The 148 yuan package includes a 90-minute massage and a fruit plate, and the 79 yuan package includes a separate essential oil soup pool and a bath. Although there are no bath towels provided, it is still worth it.
⛄️ I met the first snowman of this winter at the Bund Pier. Although it was frozen stiff, I still had to check in! However, what I experienced on the Music Square was the bare streets after the city's vehicles were cleared, which is not suitable for watching the snow. However, the charm of Harbin lies in the bone-chilling cold and the pain and joy that comes with the subsequent warming up.

Songhua River
The weather in winter in Heilongjiang is extremely cold. Sometimes the temperature falls to minus 30 degrees Celsius. And the ice period of Songhua River lasts up to five months in a year. There are a lot of winter activities that you can do on the freezing river, ice skating, playing snow tank, ice biking, winter swimming, etc.. There is a lot of fun on Songhua River in winter.#harbin #wintergetaway

FROZEN RIVER OF FUN
Bits of Info:
The Songhua River Ice and Snow Happy Valley is the youngest theme park of the Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival. The park was initially open to the public on January 5, 2011. Since then it is annually open in the same day and lasts about two months on the Songhua River.
The Songhua River in winter is as bustling as a summer bathing beach. It's frozen hard with ice almost one meter thick, making it a great playground for all kinds of ice sports. One can go swimming, skating and ice sailing, or ride in ice junks or horse-drawn sleighs on the Songhua River in winter.
When I was there, I was quite melancholic for I see families, couples, and group of friends. That time, my heart 🤍 froze but what can I do, I just have me, myself, and I. So, I just slid my sadness away! ❄️☃️

Harbin Travel Guide
Make sure to take the train🚞 to Harbin Station. It combines steel art🎨 with European Baroque style, and a casual snap🤳🏻 is like the Hogwarts of Harry Potter in the Northeast🥰. (I chose the train that arrives at Harbin Station at 5 am)
Once you leave the train station, you must first go to the Red Brick Street morning market to experience the local atmosphere. The fried cakes here have a long queue, but at 1.5 each, the taste is really good😛.
A few minutes walk, you can reach Central Street, Saint Sophia Cathedral, and admire🈵️ the European architecture of the street, with various shops that dazzle you. All are delicious and fun~ Remember🉐️ to take some Harbin sausages, they are really tasty. The Madieer ice pops are not much different from those in Beijing, pure cream, if you haven't tried them, remember to taste👅.
By bus🚌, you can reach the Songhua River Railway Bridge. This is also a popular internet check-in spot in Harbin. Standing on the century-old railway bridge, with a gentle breeze🍃 listening to the rolling waters of the Songhua River, you can learn about the history and present of this century-old bridge.
Har💊 six factory is one of the most familiar advertising slogans from childhood, and everyone who witnesses it for themselves can't help but praise it as the Louvre of the East🏰. No need for a ticket🎫, a large yard, enter the main building and visit from the fifth floor down. Be sure to bring a friend👭 who is good at taking photos, it's really photogenic.
There are many places worth visiting in Harbin. The Flood Control Monument, the zoo, 731. It is recommended to set aside two to three days for sightseeing. There are also plenty of delicious😋 foods here~ Since you're in the Northeast~ you must try Guobaorou, but there is a small tip. After finding a specialty restaurant, remember to call☎️ and ask if it is still open🈺️. I went to two Laochujia and they were both closed. But it must be said, the people here are really, really enthusiastic❤️🔥.
Tips: For accommodation🏨, it is recommended to choose near Central Street, where the attractions are concentrated, and it is convenient to walk there. For clothing👔, bring a coat, and casual wear inside is fine😌.
I am Lin Lin, always on the road to delicious and fun places. And I share the best with you🌈.

Harbin—the sunset over the Songhua River
On the Songhua River, I witnessed an incredibly beautiful orange sunset.
As the afterglow of the sunset sprinkled over the Songhua River,
the entire river surface was dyed a warm orange hue. Sitting on the cable car crossing the river, watching the sunset slowly sink, the river scenery unfolded gradually before my eyes, it was truly breathtaking. The castle at the end of the cableway,
as if I was in a fairy tale world.
Harbin's romance is not just talk. If you ever come to Harbin, you must take the cable car to experience this romance and beauty.

【About Transportation】
🛫Airport: Taking a taxi from Taiping Airport to Central Street costs over 110💰, but I chose the airport bus🚌, which is 20💰, Line 3 goes to Central Street, 40 minutes!
【About Accommodation】
I stayed near Central Street, a 5-minute walk to the Sophia Church, so close! Near the church is the Hongzhuan Street morning market (open early from 5:30-9:00) with a strong local atmosphere, offering breakfast, fruits, and various snacks; opposite the church is the Daoli Market, also a place for breakfast, super convenient😂
⭐️Day 1️⃣
Took the afternoon flight, arrived at the hotel in the evening, walked🚶🏻♀️to the Sophia Cathedral to see the night view. There were many 'assembly line princesses' taking photos📷, but I found the makeup too exaggerated and didn't take pictures🙅🏻♀️
⭐️Day 2️⃣
📍Hongzhuan Street Morning Market: Opens early, stalls close at nine🕘, if you're late you'll miss it! Recommended🔥egg burgers, grilled cold noodles, roasted sausages, Yin's fatty fried cakes... Eat from start to finish, so full, burp!~
📍Polar Park: After the morning market, take a taxi🚖to see the truant penguins🐧, so cute!
📍Central Street: Stroll and eat, citywalk, bought a lot of Russian specialties. Admire the European architecture and various embassies along the way. There's the old synagogue concert hall, Harbin cuisine, Madieer popsicles, roasted sausages, Qiulin Kvass (liquid bread fermentation).
📍Songhua River: There's a new attraction 'Diamond Sea' specifically for tourists, but safety first. Walking along the Songhua River is perfect for sunset viewing, with many fun activities on the river, choose according to personal preference.
📍After watching the sunset, return to Central Street to see the church night view→back to the hotel
⭐️Day 3️⃣
📍Daoli Market: Although it's a market, many stalls sell cooked food, good for breakfast, recommended honey small bread, Wang's fried pork loin, pumpkin cakes
②Harbin Museum: Experience the history and culture of Harbin~
📍Gogol Street: The church is great for photos, recommended Qiulin Company's Shugulim, which is actually an old-fashioned butter puff, better when frozen!
📍Chinese Baroque Street: Lots of small shops along the street, recommended Zhang's bun shop, Zhang Fei's grilled meat, Lao Dingfeng!

Harbin Spring Festival travel expenses, easily get cost-effective places to go
Harbin has become a paradise for southern potatoes this winter, how can you not come to feel the enthusiasm of the ice and snow for the Spring Festival travel. Today, Hou Jue teaches you how to save money, mainly taking good-looking photos without spending money.
✔Free landmarks to visit
❶Central Street
On Central Street, you can feel the charm of this city of music. Walking on the century-old stone road, listening to the melodious music, watching the bustling crowd and the festive New Year's decorations, full of exotic charm. The famous Huamei Western Restaurant, the popular check-in place Madieer Cold Drink Shop, and the small and beautiful Lucia Cafe are all good places for check-in and photography.
❷Saint Sophia Cathedral
The Saint Sophia Cathedral is a must-visit place in Harbin, and it is also the most perfectly preserved typical Byzantine building in China. It is deeply influenced by the Byzantine architectural art, with Russian-style domes, Roman-style arches and high windows, and a combination of various architectural art styles. In fact, there are many churches full of exotic charm in Harbin, they stand quietly on this black land, watching the changes of the world.
❸Songhua River Bridge
The Harbin Songhua River Bridge is the first bridge across the river in Harbin, and it is also the boundary bridge between the Daoli and Daowai districts of Harbin. Harbin people affectionately call it the "old river bridge", many film and television dramas are also filmed here, and there are many snow foxes on the bridge this year, making it a popular check-in place.
✔Transportation and shopping🛍️
❶In winter in Harbin, shopping in the mall is especially happy, and the warm indoor environment is much more comfortable than the south. Central Mall, Ha Yi Bai, Songlei Department Store, Hongbo Square and other places are good places for shopping.
❷The transportation in Harbin is very convenient, mainly by bus and subway. Taking a taxi to the scenic spot may cause traffic congestion, and you may also need to share a ride with strangers. Although taxis in Harbin are very cheap, public transportation is more convenient.
✔Choose a good hotel for accommodation
Tourists come to Harbin, basically they will stay in Daoli District and Nangang District, these two areas are relatively busy, and there are many attractions. Today, because of the booming tourism, the accommodation prices have basically risen, and some small hotels are also very general in terms of conditions and hygiene, so it is better to choose a large brand hotel, the quality of service can be relatively better. Don't trust the hawkers who pull customers on the street, it's best to have local friends and stay at their homes. Northeasterners are hospitable and will definitely welcome friends from afar.
✔Art and food
❶There are many museums and art galleries in Harbin, and the development of oil painting and printmaking is also quite distinctive. Heilongjiang Provincial Museum, Heilongjiang Provincial Art Museum, Harbin City Museum, Jin Shangjing Historical Museum, Red Square Art Museum, etc., will also make friends who like art worthwhile.
❷The Dao Li vegetable market next to the Sophia Cathedral has now also become a check-in place for tourists. This vegetable market full of life has also become a symbol of fireworks. Meat Union Red Sausage, home-cooked mixed vegetables, fried cakes, fried chicken, grilled skewers and other foods are the most comforting to ordinary people.
Overall, the cost of traveling in Harbin is still very low compared to southern cities. In addition to air tickets and hotels, everything else is good value for money. Museums are free, art galleries are free, as long as you don't go to the Ice and Snow World (locals basically don't go), then the cost can really be controlled within a thousand yuan.
At the end of the Harbin tour, don't forget to bring some local products home. Remember to buy the Harbin red sausage from Qiu Lin Li Dao Si. Don't buy big leba, it's not delicious if it's hard. The winter in Harbin is very long, and little friends can also wait for the Spring Festival to travel at different peaks. Harbin welcomes everyone to come and feel the charm of ice and snow.

Travel Tips:
🌈Remember to wear thick clothes and a hat, and take good warming measures
Photo outfit: warm vest + warm clothes + warm baby + sweater + coat + down jacket; for the lower body choose thick fleece leggings + fleece-lined pants; for shoes choose fleece socks + heated insoles + snow boots; and match with a hat, gloves, scarf, and mask.
🌈Plan your route the day before, it starts getting dark around 3:30 pm, so be aware of the sunset time.
🌈Bring a power bank and warm baby when going out, as the outdoor temperature is low, and your 📱 may run out of battery easily.

Harbin's Evening | The Banks of the Songhua River as Winter Departs and Spring Arrives
Winter has passed, and can spring be far behind? Despite it being March, Harbin is still very cold, and the frozen surface of the Songhua River will take almost another month to completely thaw. The longing for spring has never ceased.
The banks of the Songhua River are still beautiful at dusk, with the sunset glow being the most beautiful scenery. When the ice and snow melt away, it will be a different scene of sparkling waves.

The Songhua River Railway Bridge🌉 was started in May 1900 and put into use in October 1901. The bridge was supervised by Russian bridge expert and chief engineer of the Middle East Railway Bureau, Lian Duo Fuski, and the construction was carried out by engineer Alekseyev.
The Songhua River Railway Bridge🌉, also known as the Binzhou Railway Harbin Songhua River Bridge, is decorated anew🌹 on major holidays.
📝Note tips:
1、Time
Summer time 9:00-19:00
Winter time 10:00-15:30
The best time in winter is 12:00-15:30, when the daylight is most abundant. Be sure to bring a telephoto lens for shooting on the bridge.
2、Camera position
After getting on the bridge, don't stay at the bridgehead, it's very crowded, you can continue to go to about the middle of the bridge, there are fewer tourists and you can shoot with confidence.
3、Warm tips
The location of the public toilet is right across from the bridge entrance, very easy to find.
Southern friends coming in winter, be sure to wear more clothes, bring gloves, the wind on the bridge is really big.
📍Detailed address:
East side of Stalin Park on the Songhua River, Harbin, Heilongjiang Province.

Old travel photos, Harbin wasn't that popular back then
Harbin/2011.3
In March that year, Harbin wasn't that bustling
We walked from Central Street all the way to the Songhua River
Crossing the railway bridge
That's Sun Island
The memory of Harbin at that time
Seems to be the season when green and yellow do not connect, the Zhaolin Park where the ice lanterns are falling
The always bustling Central Street at night
And the railway bridge that I regret not stepping out
Of course, there is also the bowl of scallion oil noodles from Heilongjiang University...

If you're only staying in Harbin for three days, this guide is enough
This year, I took a trip to the Northeast due to its popularity and earned the nickname of 'Southern Potato'~ Today, I'll share some practical tips with you.
Itinerary
Day 1⃣️: Baroque Style Street~Daoli Food Market~Saint Sophia Cathedral~Central Street
Day 2⃣️: Qiantang Street Morning Market (mostly locals)~Songhua River~Beach Tribe (Diamond Sea)~Ice and Snow World~Bath Center
Day 3⃣️: Music Corridor Big Snowman~731 Troop
🌟There are many foreign buildings on Baroque Style Street, which is great for taking photos. There are also many places to eat, so you can solve meals nearby.
🌟Daoli Food Market, Saint Sophia Cathedral, and Central Street are all within walking distance, connected together, and very convenient to visit together.
🌟We didn't go to the Red Brick Street morning market, but chose the Qiantang Street morning market where locals go. It's recommended, not crowded, and you can leisurely shop. Frozen pears are very cheap!
🌟Most bath centers can be stayed overnight, and 'Southern Potatoes' can experience it. It's really a continuous scrubbing.
🌟731 Troop, when taking a Didi, the driver always suggests to go. If you have time, you must visit.
🏠Accommodation: It's recommended to stay near Baroque Style Street, it's convenient to go anywhere, and Central Street is really overpriced.
🚗Transportation: Harbin only has 3 subway lines, the main attractions are all connected, and Didi is also very cheap, overall it's very convenient.
📝Tips: Be sure to keep warm! And bring 999! The weather there is too dry, most of us who set off either fell down or fell down when we came back, either from cold or throat discomfort.
The Northeasterners are really enthusiastic! Although I caught a cold when I came back, I had a lot of fun there! I will go again!

I signed up for a Harbin tour with a friend, unexpectedly
I went to Harbin with a friend and played solidly for a week. It was so cold, but it was really beautiful. I have compiled some of my personal travel experiences for your reference.
Travel Equipment
Prepare a set of thermal underwear, thin velvet base long sleeves for outer wear, knee cotton pants, windproof and waterproof trousers, down jacket, wool sweater or high collar sweater, down jacket, snow boots, disposable slippers, sunglasses, scarf hat, ear muffs, plush gloves, lip balm, moisturizing and hydrating, masks, etc., power bank, warm baby, self-heating shoe pad, chocolate snacks, etc.
Food Recommendations
Sweet and sour pork, spicy hot pot, iron pot stew, rice bag, stuffed skin, sweet and sour pork loin, candied haws, three fresh ground, blood sausage, northern tofu brain, etc.
The food in the Northeast is really a lot and the taste is very nice. The portion size there is really generous. Don't order too many portions at once. Wait for the dishes to come up. If it's not enough, order again. Refuse to waste.
My Travel Route
D1 Landing in Harbin (if you arrive early, you can go out to the Saint Sophia Cathedral, Central Street, Songhua River Railway Bridge)
D2 Harbin-Yabuli Town (we experienced dog sledding, went to Yabuli Panda Pavilion to see pandas)
D3 Yabuli-Snow Town-Erdaobaihe (experienced snowfield hiking, strolled around the Northeast Market on Snow Charm Street, ate Northeast candied haws (super delicious, there are many kinds), also went to experience skiing and snowmobiling, visited the Ten Mile Gallery, twisted the Northeast Yangko in the afternoon, and finally participated in the bonfire party and set off fireworks)
D4 Changbai Mountain-Changbai Waterfall-Xiaotianchi (very lucky to see Tianchi, ate hot spring boiled eggs, soaked in hot springs to experience what is called ice and fire)
D5 Changbai Mountain-Changchun
【Closing Pit Suggestions】
1. Goggles: can be used when skiing, other times wear sunglasses, see if there are rental goggles, it is not cost-effective to buy one specially, if you don't ski often, you don't need to buy one specially
2. Coat: can be rented at the foot of the mountain, depending on personal physique, if you are afraid of cold, sisters are advised to rent one (generally 50-100, need 100 deposit) I saw that there are also down jackets for rent, you can also rent, so you won't have the situation of buying one specially and then wearing it once and always staying in the closet
3. It is best to carry a water cup with you, the Northeast is very dry, drink more water, and also put a cup of water in front of the bed at night.
About Group Tours
I still think it's possible to join a group, the road conditions are all snowy mountain roads, very technical. The group includes hotel + tickets + business car + aerial photography, so my friend and I chartered a car, and did not encounter invisible compulsory consumption. As for accommodation, we stayed in a four-star hotel, and the team leader would not urge us to set off very early, and the most touching point is that you can tell the master to stop at any time on the road if you encounter a place you want to go, get off the car and play enough before going to the next place, the whole is very free.
This time the Harbin small group really found the right one!! If you also want to join a group tour, be sure to look carefully and keep your eyes open, don't sign up for those low-price shopping groups!

Harbin Three-Day Winter Travel Guide|Save it and you won't get lost
【DAY1】
Finally arrived in Harbin, we ordered takeout from Huanan Xiangman Street's spicy hot pot in the evening, it tasted great! 😋
【DAY2】
We left at 9 o'clock in the morning, the first stop was Daoli Market, there were really a lot of people, pushing and shoving. In the end, we only bought a grilled cold noodle and a cup of frozen pear juice. We also bought a lot of refrigerator magnets for 5 yuan each from the small shops on the street, everyone should compare prices before buying, don't overpay! 😄
Then we went to the Sofia Cathedral, took some photos, and even went inside for a tour. Then we went shopping on Central Street, bought Madieer popsicles and grilled sausages. We had a delicious lunch at the Portman Western Restaurant at noon, the environment was also very good, highly recommended! 😍
The next stop was the Songhua River, there were people selling snow tubes on the way, and we followed them to play a round. In front of us was a jeep pulling a bunch of snow tubes for a few rounds, it was quite fun, but it was too cold, especially when the wind blew on our faces. During our walk on the Songhua River, we also encountered a cute little fox and took a photo together. We also bought candied haws on the way, which were all frozen into ice. In the end, we went to the railway bridge to take photos. Because it was snowing all day, it was really too cold, so we quickly took a few photos and hurried back to the hotel to rest. We went out to eat at King Kong Mountain Barbecue at around six in the evening, but the taste was average, not recommended. 😕
【DAY3】
We spent the whole day in the Ice and Snow World today. We entered the park at 10:30 in the morning, and as soon as we entered, we couldn't wait to rush to the Ferris wheel and queued for an hour. We were playing all the time and time flew by. The view from the Ferris wheel was really beautiful, it's definitely worth experiencing. After coming down, we rented a snow tube and played on the small slide under the Ferris wheel for a while. We had a casual lunch in the food court at noon, I was already suffering from a headache due to the strong wind, so be sure to wear more clothes if you are going to stay outdoors for a long time. Around four-thirty in the afternoon, we saw the magnificent sunset, so we prepared to leave to eat at Shanhetun Iron Pot Stew. I suggest everyone to ask in advance whether there are seats available before going, the first place we went to was already full, so we made a wasted trip. We finally sat down to eat at more than seven o'clock in the evening, but unfortunately I had a headache that day and couldn't eat a bite. 😔
【DAY4】
Today is the last day of our trip to Harbin. We had breakfast at a random bun shop, and then went to the Harbin Museum for a visit. We had a delicious lunch at Chengcheng Laobin Northeast Cuisine at noon, highly recommended! Then we went to Central Street again and bought chimney bread. Finally, we went to the Music Corridor and saw the cute snowman. Our trip to Harbin ended like this, we were very lucky to encounter heavy snowfall, tasted many delicious foods, experienced the cold climate we had never seen before, and admired the magnificent scenery of the Ice and Snow World. Goodbye, beautiful Harbin! ❄️🎿💕

Harbin Songhua River | is the meaning of winter, is the secret of snow
HarbinSonghua RiverHow can there be such a beautiful place
Navigate to the Beach Tribe and you can get to the Songhua River
For those who are going to take photos, the sun sets at 4 o'clock in Harbin, and there is no sunset~ The sunset at 2 or 3 o'clock is the most beautiful
You can go to take photos at this time📸The view of the sunset from the railway bridge is really good, the orange warm sunlight in the cold, very beautifulVery healing
If you have other schedules to play, then you must go to the Songhua River to see before the sunset and then go to other attractions. The sunlight of nature is the best filter, and the beautiful photos are taken~~Then you must bring gloves and gloves🧤Ah ah ah, otherwise your hands will be frozen and it is super hard to press the phone
If you go to take photos in the morning, you must wear more and moreTake off if you want to take photos~ When the sun comes out, you can go to the river to play snowmobiles and snowmobiles, pay attention to safety when playing snowmobilesBring your own equipment, and don’t say much about watching mobile phones and other items
You can also see the Diamond Sea💎at the Beach Tribe
💎The Diamond Sea is actually the ice harvesting field of the Ice and Snow World on the Songhua River, so the ice layer will be relatively thin, and you can only tour on the side of the bank
The rectangular ice cubes present a crystal clear light blue under the white snow and sky light, covering the top of the snow like a large piece of crispy white chocolateThe side is like transparent crystal
The sunset around three and a half in the afternoon, the sun has turned warm yellow, a little light leaking from the smog and clouds, making the ice cubes emit a little golden color, it's really beautiful

Venturing into Harbin | Complete Guide to Eating, Playing, and Photography
🏨I chose to stay near the museum on Line 2, avoiding Central Street. It's convenient to take the subway or a taxi, and the bus to Volga Manor also uses Line 2.
🚗Taxis are much cheaper than in Shanghai, and chatting with the driver can bring surprises👀
⚠️Heated insoles are a must! If you sweat easily, remember to use antiperspirant, otherwise your feet will get colder when they're wet! Keep a few hand warmers, you can stick them on your phone, put them in your pocket or gloves, sticking them on your body is basically useless outdoors.
🧤Bring two pairs of gloves, thin ones can expose your fingertips for easy phone use, and thick ones can be worn on the outside. It's unbearable to expose your hands outdoors.
📷If you take a lot of photos, it's recommended to buy a capacitive pen, so you can touch the screen without taking off your gloves!
🛍️Gexin Underground Market: A huge underground market I stumbled upon, with a wide variety of food and a vegetable market, it's more enjoyable to stroll around than at Qiu Lin.
🍴Anjing Street, if you can't get up for the morning market, the night market here is also very good, with pot-sticker meat, chicken racks, and cheap strawberry specialty stores.
1⃣️Ice and Snow World❄️
I really admire the girls who wear very little, I definitely can't take off my down jacket, I changed my mind and bought a red cloak which is also good for photos, if you only queue for one thing, it must be Harbin Ice Show! If you're afraid of getting tired, you can rent a snow ring to sit on while queuing!! You can store your belongings before entering!
2⃣️Diamond Sea 🧊
📍Navigate to Beach Tribe! After getting off the bus, continue walking forward and turn left to enter, you don't need to buy a ticket at the entrance, it's free, it's recommended to go in the evening for better photos, I went in the morning and the light was a bit dazzling, and it was backlit😭You can hold a fox here, mine was really too fat, I almost thought it was a Samoyed😂
3⃣️Big Snowman⛄️
You need to navigate to the Music Corridor, I navigated wrong!! I went to a music park and felt something was wrong, I looked up and saw the real big snowman on the way back by taxi! It was too late to get off the bus! If you're not sure, you can ask the driver when you take a taxi!
4⃣️Songhua River Bridge🎡Ice and Snow Carnival
It's also suitable to come at sunset, watch the sunset and then go to the Ice and Snow Carnival, there are many things to play, the prices are also suitable, there are also package tickets, you can also see reindeer here
5⃣️ St. Alekseyev Church💒St. Sophia Cathedral⛪️
There are really a lot of people, be sure to look at the guide more and find a good shooting position, if you really can't shoot, you can go to the coffee shop on the second floor of the square to sit by the window and shoot, it's not cold! The popular clothing store "Yishanzhijia" is just opposite, the most practical is this big flower Northeast mask, even the temples are protected, no fog!
5⃣️Central Street🚋Baroque Style Street
There are too many people on Central Street, you can go to eat near Baroque Style Street
There are also ice roses on the road, the ice cream from Lao Dingfeng is more delicious than Madier popsicles

The Songhua River frozen over

Harbin | Songhua River Railway Bridge | You must experience the romantic sunset of the Songhua River at least once
Dusk is indeed the most beautiful moment of the Songhua River.
From the other side of the Songhua River, the warm twilight gradually diffuses.
It's really super romantic.
Just walk around and stretch freely.
On this niche bridge, the comfort in the sunshine on the ice.
Slow down time.
.
🔸Route planning
Middle East Railway Park → Middle East Railway Bridge → Songhua River Ice Surface → Stalin Park
📝Tips
It is recommended to go after 2:30 in the afternoon, the sunset is beautiful.
The entrance is crowded, you must go inside, there will be fewer people.
The wind on the river is strong, and the temperature will be lower, so wear a hat and gloves.
There are large slides and snow circles on the river surface, which are very close and convenient.
🎫Tickets: Free

This is too northeastern | Can't your boyfriend take pictures of the Sophia Church yet?
By a stroke of luck, Harbin has become my No.1⃣️ station travel destination when I returned to the country. At that time, the temperature was only -10 degrees, and the enthusiasm of travel enthusiasts had already started activities on this land. But in fact, there are not many permanent attractions in the city, mainly centered on Central Street: Sophia Church, Songhua River, Red Brick Street Morning Market, etc.
This winter is really too cold. I am determined to make every time I take out the camera a picture. Simply put, pull your photo/travel partner in to learn!.
.🔸Bench by the church
The bench at the front door: There will be light hitting here from 11:00-1:00 at noon; but there will also be many little sisters lining up here! The effect is a bit far-fetched at other times on the shady side.
The bench at the side door: 3-4 o'clock sunset time, I didn't take this (because I had a fever hhh) 5 o'clock after the night view when the lights are on!
🔸Octagonal Pavilion
Here you can take pictures of the frame through the arch perspective, you need to find more angles, there are closed stairs and so on here, you need to pay attention to safety.
🔸Sinkhole
There is a sinkhole in front of the Octagonal Pavilion, which will be closer to the church, and there is almost sun all day. I chose to sit on it and take pictures!
🔸Front door
Of course don't stand too close! A little farther away, the lens has a little upward angle + stretch your hand forward (to get a little lens distortion effect.
.Half a year, I saw the Sophia Cathedral in Turkey and the Sophia Church in Harbin, which is a bit magical! Also reviewed the photography skills of my photo partner half a year later, I hope he can continue to work hard
