We always sprayed ourselves there before going out, haha~ I forgot the name, but it was a woody scent that I loved. There are several lounge areas with fireplaces. The warm lighting makes you feel incredibly comfortable. In the evening, I saw business people meeting at the hotel for work discussions. 🏨 Hotel Environment: The overall color scheme features warm lighting, with either a 1.8m or 2m bed (I forgot which). The pillows include one soft and one firm option, probably Atour's standard (the hotel belongs to the Atour Group). The hairdryer is from Refa, which I also use at home. The washbasin provides face towels instead of paper towels. The makeup mirror is from Amiro, with several modes simulating daylight and warm light. The attention to detail is perfect, because in hotels with warm lighting, I sometimes have to do my makeup by the window in natural light to avoid looking too dramatic. Complimentary welcome fruits + coconut water, and the refrigerator contains Three Squirrels snacks and drinks like Coca-Cola at no extra charge. 🖼 Restaurant Environment: The restaurant mainly serves Chinese cuisine, and the taste is quite good. Getting around was super convenient with the metro system that connects the entire city. Ticket prices start at just 2 yuan (about 10 baht), making transportation very affordable. Every restaurant I tried served delicious food—whatever I picked turned out to be tasty. While language might be a slight barrier, Google Translate and some hand gestures can help you communicate effectively. The locals are friendly and welcoming, often trying to converse with you. The bright lights at night make the skyscrapers of Lujiazui in Pudong look particularly stunning. Walking along the Bund, you can see the blend of modernity and history on both sides of the Huangpu River, especially the International Building Complex, where each building has its own story. The most recommended thing is to come here at dusk to watch the afterglow of the setting sun shining on the river, which is particularly romantic. 📍 World Expo Museum The World Expo Museum is the world's first official museum with a World Expo theme. It displays precious collections and historical development context of previous World Expos. What attracted me most was the **“Future Technology Exhibition Area”**, where I could see how the World Expo promoted technological innovation and even experience some interactive projects. It was super interesting! First Stop, we headed to 新天地. It is known for its Shikumen architecture and there are various restaurants and shops nestles within these houses. I will say the $$$ is comparable to the streets of Orchard. 
We spent about 2 hours here inclusive of lunch! There is an another small street called 田子坊 if yall will like to explore.

We then took a didi to Shanghai Starbucks Reserve. 
Starbucks Reserve Roastery 星巴克臻选上海烘焙工坊 
This was tbh more like a tea break stop for us as it is about 15 mins stroll to our hotel. What’s unique about this Starbucks is that there is an entire roastery within the shop itself. 
I will say do drop by if u are into collecting merchandises from Starbucks as this Starbucks have tumblrs and Cups that are unique to Shanghai Only!!

武康路 is known for its European style buildings. Walking through the streets of towards Wukang building is peaceful and serene. We made a few pit stops near by to admire the architecture of some cafes and small shops! There are many vintage clothing stalls as well as shops selling handicrafts.

🏨Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund As soon as I arrived in Shanghai, I headed straight to the Bund. It's such a famous place, and the view is incredible! Historic buildings everywhere, and across the river, the skyscrapers of Lujiazui sparkle and shine—it's truly spectacular! The Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund is right there in the heart of it all—the location is perfect! Just a few steps out the door and you're at the riverside, enjoying the breeze and the scenery. It's incredibly relaxing. 🛒The lobby is seriously impressive! The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was blown away by the lobby. It's so grand and elegant, with high ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, and vintage decor. I felt like I'd stepped into an old Shanghai movie. The staff at the front desk were incredibly welcoming. They offered me a glass of champagne while I checked in. The VIP treatment instantly put me in a great mood and started my trip off perfectly. 🛏️The room is all about the details! The room was even more amazing. The bed was incredibly soft, like sleeping on a cloud. I slept soundly through the night. The best part was the view from the window. I pulled back the curtains, and there it was—the stunning Bund. I could see the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Jin Mao Tower. The view alone was worth the stay! And the little details were fantastic, too. The toiletries were all top-brand, and even the slippers were super comfy. I felt completely pampered. 🍽️Dining is a true delight! The hotel restaurants are outstanding! Breakfast offered a huge variety of Chinese and Western options, including made-to-order omelets and bacon. Everything was delicious. Eating breakfast by the window, overlooking the Bund, was pure bliss. I also had dinner at the hotel's French restaurant one evening. The presentation was exquisite, like works of art, and every bite was pure joy. My taste buds were in heaven! 🏖️The rooftop terrace is incredibly romantic! The hotel's rooftop terrace was my favorite spot. One evening, my friend and I went to the rooftop bar, ordered cocktails, and just sat and chatted. The terrace has beautiful lighting and greenery, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We enjoyed the river breeze and the breathtaking night view of the Bund. It was incredibly romantic. I felt like I was in a movie scene. It was pure magic! 📸Leaving was bittersweet! I felt a little sad when it was time to leave. My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund was truly wonderful. From the luxurious lobby and comfortable room to the delicious food and romantic rooftop terrace, every aspect was memorable. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai. It's the perfect place for a memorable trip!
