The arena might not be as famous as the Colosseo but it is actually a really stunning piece of architecture!
In fact is was build even before the colosseo and it also has been place for traditional games and shows in ancient times.
For sure it is worth a tour when visiting the beautiful city of Verona. the ticket is 10 euro and it is free on the first Sunday of every month.
tip: if you can choose the date of your visit, make sure you don't go when there are shows scheduled for the night (arena is also a theathre now) because they will cover the whole court with stage and seats and you will stay pay full ticket price.
