You can lie by the water's edge for hours, watching the waves shimmer in the sun. Fig Tree Bay has a completely different vibe: tranquility, a gentle entry into the water, and the perfect place to just unwind. Be sure to grab a beach chair for €2.50 and enjoy the whole day. 🔥 But the best thing is the variety. I visited over 20 beaches during my vacation, and they were all stunning. We came here for a football tournament in neighboring Ayia Napa, and I was supposed to referee there. We stayed at this pleasant hotel. The sea view from the window already added a romantic touch to our vacation. We especially enjoyed strolling along the beach – it's right next to the hotel. Many of the tavernas were closed, as were the shops – but the supermarket next to the hotel with its cheap prices was helpful. You can find everything you need there, even an adapter (yes, the outlets here are different, so you can't just charge your phone!). There's a McDonald's nearby – it seems quite harmonious in this area. There aren't many tourists; early in the morning you won't meet anyone on the streets at all. The hotel staff is friendly and always happy to help. There's a wide selection of food, although I only ate vegetables and fruit. The sea water isn't warm enough for swimming, but many brave souls stayed in it and then warmed up in the sun.

Sunny Larnaca welcomed us with love and warmth. The weather is perfect for traveling. Hotels are inexpensive because it's off-season. But swimming in the sea is already perfectly possible. You can also sit in a tavern, enjoy the sunset, or simply stroll along the promenade. You can add a trip to the Troodos Mountains or a trip to Ayia Napa, where the nightlife is vibrant.
