Pu'er Taiyanghe Forest Park is really more fun than I imagined!! It is by far my favorite forest park 🌲 It is 33 km from downtown Pu'er, making it convenient to get to!! The entire Pu'er Taiyanghe Forest Park 🏞️ covers an area of 216 square kilometers, with a forest coverage rate as high as 97%. Pu'er Taiyanghe Forest Park is one of the first 4A-level scenic spots in Pu'er City. The whole route is a rainforest hike, and the air is so fresh you want to take it home‼️ Here, you can not only feel close to nature but also get up close with small animals and see red pandas 🐼 This was my first time seeing a red panda. Feeding apples 🍎 to the red pandas was so adorable. And you don’t have to go to Africa 🌍 to see rhinos here. You can touch them and even brush the rhinos’ backs 🦏, which is a very immersive experience. During the May Day holiday 🎐, visitors can also meet the park’s animal star, the gibbon Ding Ding!! Pu'er isn't just the name of a tea; it's a city around which an entire tea culture has evolved over centuries. Here you can buy some insanely good Pu'er: Sheng, Shou, pressed tea cakes, loose-leaf tea, and tea from ancient trees. The key is not to grab the first thing you see, but to taste it. In good tea shops, they will brew several varieties for you, explain the flavor profiles, age, mountain origins, and raw materials, and help you choose. What to do in Pu'er: 1. Attend a tea ceremony This is an absolute must. You sit there, sipping tea from tiny cups, listening to stories about leaves, mountains, and fermentation, and suddenly you realize that tea can be an entire journey in itself. 2.
