You can soak in the local Lanna art and immerse yourself in the lush nature. The main goal for this trip is to stay overnight at Doi Phu Kha National Park. We started off by paying our respects at Wat Sri Mongkol. 🙏 This temple is absolutely stunning with plenty of photo ops right from the entrance. It's adorned with Lanna-style decorations, fluttering fabrics, and beautiful flowers. 🌸💐 It also offers a view of the rice fields (though we visited during the harvest season, so it looked a bit dry). Then, we continued our journey up to our accommodation at Doi Phu Kha National Park. ⛰️ The rooms are clean and can accommodate quite a few people, but make sure to book in advance directly through the national park! After unpacking, we headed up to the 1715 Viewpoint. The rolling mountain view was gorgeous, especially with the sun just about to set. 🌅 During our visit, we also got to see the rare, endemic flower called Chompoo Phu Kha. 🌺 It's uniquely beautiful! We traveled from Nan city to Sapan Village via Route 1169, then Route 1081, passing check-in points like 📍Road No. 3, 📍Zero Curve, and 📍Folding Curve. Before reaching Sapan Village, we stopped at 📍Long Khao Cafe to take some photos and order some drinks. Then we drove to Sapan Village. 1. For the first night, we stayed at 📍Mong View Sapan Resort, located in the village. Since we arrived in the evening, it was a comfortable accommodation option with private bathrooms, including breakfast. Dinner can be ordered from the resort, and bicycles are available for free to ride around the village. 2. After borrowing bicycles from the resort, we cycled to 📍Sapan Waterfall Walking Street to find something to eat in the evening. This is another must-visit check-in point! 3. In the morning, we woke up... 1. Anyone visiting Sapan must check in at 📍Stop Time Cafe. It's considered a highlight with its view of Sapan village. The view is so wide and beautiful, we could easily spend hours there. 4. We were hungry, so we stopped for lunch at 📍Kru Phung Restaurant in Sapan village. We also bought some fried bananas along the way. 5. We took a walk to 📍Sapan Waterfall while waiting to go up to the viewpoint at the top of Sapan village. The walk to the waterfall is easy and takes no more than 20 minutes round trip. It's a leisurely walk, no need to rush. 6. When the time was right, we hired a car to take us to our check-in points at 📍Huai Tone and 📍Huai Mi. It took about 3-4 hours. We stopped to take pictures wherever it was beautiful. 7. For our second night, we stayed at 📍Naturaha Ban Huai Mi - Sapan. It's located above the road to Huai Mi. There are only 4 bungalows, so you need to book at least 1 month in advance. Stopped by to take some beautiful photos at a spot where a photographer offers 3D and 4D photo services without needing to bring a reflective mirror. The service costs 50 baht for about 10 photos, but the photographer was very generous, so we ended up with plenty of pictures. Then we drove to another action spot. When we arrived in the morning, it wasn't crowded, so we could take photos comfortably. There weren't many cars, so it was less risky, but friends visiting should still be cautious of passing vehicles. Along the way, we stopped by cafes and restaurants. The food was delicious, and after a tiring day, we checked into our accommodation. They even offered hot barbecue service. Tonight, we stayed at #PuaDeView.
