🌊⚓️ Queenscliff Feels Like a Postcard You Can Walk Into
Queenscliff felt like walking into an old postcard — the kind with faded edges, handwritten notes, and ocean-salted air 📮🌊. This quiet little coastal town in Victoria is full of charm: historic cottages, a vintage train line, and one of the prettiest lighthouses I’ve seen perched right by the cliffs 🏠🚂⚓.
The first time I came here last year, I stumbled into a tiny modern Asian restaurant called Nivana — completely by accident. This year, I somehow ended up at the same table by the window, with the same menu, and yes… I ordered the same dishes again (no regrets) 🪟💛
🥥 Malaysian Laksa ($28) — rich, creamy broth that’s full of spice and coconut, but never too heavy. The highlight? The crispy prawn wontons — golden on the outside, juicy inside. Just remember to eat them before they soak too long!
🦐 Scallop & Prawn Siu Mai ($19) — fresh, bouncy, and packed with flavor. You can tell the seafood is top quality.
After a breezy walk along the pier and letting the wind tangle our hair in the best way, this warm, cozy meal just hit different.
Queenscliff doesn’t shout — it whispers. And Nivana was the perfect way to end a soft, sea-salted day.

#circa1903 #deliciousfood #foodie This place is a jewel in Victoria situated on the entrance of the mighty port Philip bay. It has seen many millions of settlers come through the heads to make their new life in Melbourne. It is one of the best preserved early 19th century towns in Australia: a delightful place to #couplestrip spend some hours or even some days poterring around.#

Queenscliff is a quiet seaside town near the beginning of the Great Ocean Road. There are not many tourists and the locals are happy to enjoy themselves.
This Queenscliff Haubour is a casual gathering place that locals like very much. Especially on weekends, a restaurant that comes to the harbour has a leisurely brunch and chats in the sun.
For tourists, in addition to eating, you can also board the lighthouse top floor viewing platform overlooking the 360 degree view of the harbour.

The Great Ocean Road is a pilgrimage route for many travellers. Most people will choose to start this wonderful journey in Geelong, but in fact, a little half an hour eastward, Queenscliff is also a must-see.
We stayed at the RV camp located by the sea. When we woke up in the morning, the seagull was waiting for us to have breakfast outside the window. The bread and milk were just in our hands, and a group of seagulls flew over.
Looking at the rising sun on the sea, the sea liner is slowly passing by, so this quiet morning is really a yearning life.
