Had an early morning flight, so opted to stay here. The location is perfect—right next to Terminal 2 and close to the train station. Check-in was a breeze, taking just two minutes since I prepaid online, and the receptionist greeted me with a smile. Enjoyed a great meal, with Max providing excellent service. Additionally, the 24-hour courtesy bus for airport pick-up and drop-off made transit incredibly easy. Radisson Blu Manchester Airport is ideal for anyone wanting a pre-holiday stopover to kickstart their trip early! It’s easily accessible on foot from T2 (we parked at JetParks Ringway and took the free bus). The reception staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome. Although our room wasn't ready on time, we were treated to complimentary drinks, which we enjoyed next door at Little M Bar. We stayed in twin adjoining rooms. The only issue was that the adjoining door was locked, and we had to wait a bit for a staff member to unlock it. The rooms were spacious, well-decorated, and had a nice touch with a chilled bottle of prosecco on ice waiting for us. Rooms 726 and 728 offered excellent views of the airport activities, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The kids especially loved sitting by the window watching the planes. However, considering the short time we stayed (less than 12 hours), the cost felt a little steep. Our superior rooms on the 7th floor were more than sufficient with nice views. We opted not to access the executive lounge since it wasn’t worth it given the kids couldn’t enter after 5 pm. We wished we’d had more time to enjoy amenities like the swimming pool and breakfast, but an early checkout made it impossible. Overall, it was a great stay. The convenient walk to T2 via the sky bridge was a big plus, and we hope to return for a longer visit in the future.

Terminal 2 is within walking distance via the connecting bridge, and getting into Manchester city center is also convenient by taxi or using the nearby metro/tram station. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room has a modern, stylish look, with 24/7 Wi-Fi available throughout the stay. The restaurant was excellent, offering good food and service. In-room dining also provides sufficient options to satisfy cravings when you prefer to relax in the room rather than go out. Suggestions for Management A few improvements could enhance the overall experience: · Hotel transportation to Terminal 2 could be more frequent, as waiting times can sometimes be quite long. · The rooms are compact at around 17 m², making it challenging to find sufficient space for two suitcases. Additional luggage storage or better arrangements for bags would be helpful. · There are no telephones in the rooms for traditional wake-up calls. The current system turns on the TV instead, which may not suit every guest. An alternative wake-up call option would be appreciated. · Adding bathrobes and slippers would significantly improve comfort, especially for guests unwinding after long journeys. · Expand the light-bites menu for in-room dining to include more comfort food options alongside the existing Italian-focused choices. Suggestions include fish & chips, a cheese and cracker plate, club sandwich, chicken wings or tenders, loaded fries, soup with bread, or a simple grilled chicken sandwich. Overall, this is a very good airport hotel with a fantastic location, modern atmosphere, excellent restaurant, and friendly service. A few minor changes to guest comfort and transportation could make the experience even better. Would happily stay again.

A great hotel, conveniently located near Terminal 2. Parking is good, but make sure to book it early as it fills up fast. The room is clean, though it has a slightly sterile vibe reminiscent of an American penitentiary. The food is good too. It’s very busy overall, but a solid choice for airport parking.

Stayed here before and have to say this place is amazing. This is only our second visit, but the room was great—comfortable beds, clean, and fresh. Definitely 5 stars for me! Highly recommend, especially since it’s so close to the airport. The staff was amazing—no issues at all, and they were all so helpful. As for the food, wow! It’s been a long time since I’ve had a meal this good. The steak was incredible, and my son had the pizza, which he said was the best he’s ever had. Hats off to the chefs!

Had a fantastic all-around experience at the Dakota hotel near Manchester Airport. We visited yesterday as a party of five for a birthday meal at the grill. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was superb – huge compliments to the chefs! Both the steaks and lamb chops were cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes were impressively large. Special thanks to Olly and Tyler, our servers, who made the occasion truly memorable. The "Happy Birthday" plate, as pictured, was a delightful touch. We'd also like to thank Alan for his warm welcome on the forecourt, creating a wonderful first impression, and Pam, who kindly sorted out our booking when we arrived in a different car than originally planned. Lastly, our appreciation goes to Marcin for taking care of our car and for the thoughtful Dakota goodies left inside – a pleasant surprise! We would absolutely recommend this experience to others. Without a doubt, we’ll be returning, and hopefully staying overnight next time before our next holiday!

Our usual choice for Manchester Airport is the Radisson Blu, but we decided to give the new Dakota a try. It's about a 10-12 minute walk from the airport, which wasn't an issue for us. The first impression was that it doesn't feel like your typical airport hotel; it offers the trendy and cool vibe you'd expect from Dakota. The rooms were excellent, and we couldn't hear any aircraft noise during our stay. The Dakota grill served great food, and we enjoyed the bar, where a few cocktails hit the spot. Dishes like the frito misto, Caesar salad, prawn curry, and lobster ravioli were all fantastic, paired with a lovely Sancerre. Though we could have walked the short distance to the airport at 5 am, we opted for the convenience of the people carrier transfer. It was a fantastic stay—10/10—and sets a high standard for what an airport hotel can be.

The quirky hotel is just a brief, uncovered walk from the train and bus station. From our 8th-floor room to the Terminal 2 check-in desks, it took less than 15 minutes on foot. Room 818 was tidy and well-equipped, and although the view of the runway was blocked, we still had sight of planes landing and taking off. We enjoyed evening drinks at the bar while listening to the live DJ. Due to drizzly weather, we decided to dine in and found their hot honey pepperoni pizza quite delightful. The bed was very comfortable, though we had to wake up early for our 6 AM flight.

The staff at this hotel were excellent—very friendly and welcoming. The room was adequate but had a minimalist design. There's a vending machine in the reception area offering essentials, even including a teddy bear. It's conveniently located just across the road from the Manchester Airport train station. Although we had prebooked a transfer, we missed it due to the delay and couldn’t notify them in advance. However, when we called after landing, the courteous driver arrived within minutes. The hotel is immaculately kept, and every staff member we met was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Our room was stunning—spotless and filled with thoughtful touches like a USB-C charger, slippers, Molton Brown toiletries, quality coffee, and more. After several uncomfortable nights during our holiday, sinking into the super king-sized bed in our garden room truly felt like floating on a cloud. We’ve previously favored the Clayton for overnight stays when flying through Manchester, but Dakota has completely surpassed it. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options to suit all tastes. The grill area was visually striking, and the staff were attentive without overstepping. In summary, everything about our stay at Dakota was exceptional, and I’ll definitely be a returning guest.

We stayed at Dakota Manchester Airport for one night before our holiday. Although we've always chosen the Radisson Blu for years, Dakota proved to be in a league of its own. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable and incredibly personalized. Every staff member, regardless of position, greeted us warmly and went out of their way to assist. Our three-year-old son was with us, and the staff were wonderfully accommodating. Despite the hotel's luxurious setup, it was surprisingly child-friendly thanks to their thoughtful approach. We booked the signature suite, which was stunningly designed with a flawless finish and had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. For dinner and breakfast, we ate at The Grill, both of which were superb, with the bonus of free breakfast for children. Ollie, our server, took excellent care of us, making sure we were well-fed, hydrated, and entertained. As we were celebrating a special occasion, we received two complimentary glasses of champagne and a celebratory dessert plate—the fudge was unforgettable! Checkout was smooth and efficient, and the assistance with our luggage was highly appreciated. The included airport transfer was another thoughtful touch, with their branded fleet adding a special flair. Olly picked us up from our room and drove us to the terminal, conveniently dropping us off outside the airline desk—a thoughtful gesture, especially with our luggage and buggy. This experience exceeded all expectations, and we don't foresee returning to our previous choice of airport hotel. We started with a generous portion of calamari, which was well-received, and followed it with lamb shank for the main course. Typically served with mash, the dish came with chips as a substitution due to availability, but it didn’t make any difference. The lamb was tender and flavorful with a delightful sauce and perfectly cooked vegetables, and the chips were tasty as well. We skipped dessert, having filled up on the main courses. I highly recommend dining in the restaurant during your stay, as the food is both delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel’s location is perfect for those flying out of Terminal 2. The Hilton Manchester Airport is the ideal hotel for an overnight stay before flying out. After a week-long tour in hotels without air conditioning, this place was an absolute relief for us. We had a very quiet room on the first floor and could finally sleep soundly again—the air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding and a great way to kick off our departure day. In summary, if you want to fly out of Manchester feeling relaxed and well-rested, this is the perfect spot. We were staying at another airport hotel just a short walk from Tribe. They offered great pizzas and other dishes, and the pizza was honestly one of the best I've had in a long time. The service was excellent and friendly, and the drinks were fantastic. All of this at a reasonable price.
