🏡A city where the world of picture books unfolds! Have a dreamlike trip in Colmar
#AbsolutelyFreeTrip
Colmar, the jewel of the Alsace region, is a town that feels like you've wandered into a storybook✨
The "Petite Venise" (Little Venice), with its rows of colorful half-timbered houses, is photogenic no matter where you look📸
The leisurely boat ride along the canal was truly a "healing trip"🚤
It's about a 30-minute train ride from Strasbourg🚆
It's about a 15-minute walk from the station to the old town. Another attractive feature is that the entire city is compact and easy to walk around.
The key to success is "taking photos in the morning light"🌞
The soft light brings out the colors of the buildings, making for a picture that looks like a painting.
Don't forget to try some Alsace wine🍷
My impression of the trip was "a town where dreams and reality blend together."
I had a magical time where my heart fluttered no matter where I walked.
On your next trip, why not try becoming a "fairy tale hero" in Colmar? 🎀

Roadtrip Down To Kaysersberg
Covid is now a thing of the past, and flights have been so full even I am unable to get on even with a company ticketed fare, which means it's road trip time down towards Zurich but not before stopping in Kaysersberg, a little historical town in France roughly about 3 hours drive from frankfurt.
Kaysersberg js known also as the mountain of the emperor where this is also a popular tourists spot to visit. You will be able to understand the history of Kayersberg during the 1200s and also see the beautiful old town of Kayersber, where surpsingly many of the buildings are quite well mantained like what you see back in Germany.
Of and, you have to visit this cheese shop called Cave D Affinage where its this underground cheese shop, and even for a cheese lover like me the smell of cheese was too overwhelming! oh gosh! But you be able to also see how these cheese are being cut packed and distributed.

🏡A medieval jewel box! A walk through the town of Riquewihr, where time passes by

🏡A medieval jewel box! Walking around Riquewihr, a town where you forget time
Riquewihr, a small village in Alsace, is one of the "most beautiful villages in France"✨
The streets lined with colorful half-timbered houses are like a medieval picture book world📖
It is located along the wine route, and the scenery surrounded by vineyards is also spectacular🍇
It is about 30 minutes by bus from Colmar🚌
It is also convenient to access by car, and there is a parking lot at the entrance to the village🚗
The key to success is "visiting in the morning and enjoying the quiet townscape"🌞
When there are few tourists, you feel like you have the village all to yourself.
You can also sample wine at a local wine shop, which is a must-see for Alsace wine lovers🍷
My impression of the trip was "it felt like time had stopped."
Even though it is a small village, there were many memorable landscapes and encounters.
On your next trip, be sure to experience the "quiet emotion" of Riquewihr 💖

A Historically Significant Abandoned Castle
This is a historically significant abandoned castle. The castle dates back to the late 13th century. It was originally inherited by the Münch family of Basel. It was destroyed in the great earthquake of 1356. It was occupied, bombarded, and dismantled by the Swedes and the French. Only the castle was reused by the Germans as an observation post during World War II. It was once used as a royal prison and later as a state prison, hence it was called the 'Alsace Bastille'.

Sunset At Sacré-Cœur Basilica Paris
The sunset view from Sacré-Cœur Basilica is truly breathtaking. As you climb the two hundred meters to the top of the dome, you can feel the anticipation building, knowing that the best view of Paris awaits you. And when you finally reach the top, you are not disappointed. The entire city and its suburbs stretch out before you, with the Eiffel Tower and the River Seine taking center stage.
But it's not just the panoramic view that makes this experience so special. As the sun sets behind the city, the sky takes on a warm and fiery hue, casting a golden glow over everything in sight. The intricate details of the basilica's architecture are illuminated, and the whole scene feels like a work of art.
As you stand there, taking in the beauty of the sunset and the city, it's impossible not to feel a sense of wonder and awe. The view from Sacré-Cœur Basilica is truly one of the most unforgettable experiences Paris has to offer.

Serenity At Jardin Des Tuileries Paris
Our afternoon walk in Jardin des Tuileries Paris was a serene experience. As we strolled through the gardens, we were surrounded by the beauty of nature and the stunning architecture of Paris. The garden, which was once the private playground of French kings and queens, is now a public park enjoyed by both locals and tourists.
We wandered along the tree-lined paths, taking in the sight of the autumnal scenery. The fountains and sculptures scattered throughout the garden added to the charm of the surroundings. The serene atmosphere of the park made us forget that we were in the heart of a bustling city.
As we walked, the chirping of birds, and the rustling of leaves provided a soothing background to our stroll.
Our afternoon walk in Jardin des Tuileries Paris was an enchanting experience that left us with lasting memories. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the chance to experience the beauty of this historic garden.

Riquewihr
Riquewihr is a town on the Alsace Wine Route in eastern France. Its cobbled streets are dotted with half-timbered winemakers’ shops and tasting rooms. Winemaking tools and a restored kitchen are on display in the 16th-century Maison de Vigneron. The 1291 Dolder Tower houses the Musée du Dolder, featuring centuries-old weapons. The 14th-century Tour des Voleurs, a former prison, has torture instruments.Originally the property of the Dukes of Württemberg, the town was converted to Protestantism in the 16th century. Historically, Riquewihr served as a Winzerdorf or "wine village" as a trading hub for Alsatian and German wine.Riquewihr was one of the few towns in the area not to be badly damaged during World War II. The town is surrounded by its medieval fortifications and is overlooked by a castle from the same period that is today a museum.
There is a museum about Alsace during World War II and a torture chamber.
