The vintage interior created a comforting and somewhat nostalgic atmosphere🌿 This time around, I ordered: ・Forest Obanzai Set (1,800 yen) ・Seasonal Mini Parfait (1,000 yen) ・Strawberry Milk Shortcake Shaved Ice (1,500 yen) 📝 The "Forest Obanzai Set" changes its menu every month. I love being able to enjoy a little bit of several different side dishes☺️ The set included: · Tamago Kake Gohan (Raw egg on rice) · Fluffy shrimp cutlet · Lotus root & hijiki seaweed deli-style salad · Chawanmushi (Savory steamed egg custard) · Homemade sesame tofu · Spring cabbage & wakame seaweed miso soup · Pickles For the Tamago Kake Gohan, you can choose between a fluffy meringue style and a regular style. I went with the fluffy one this time🥚✨ The airy meringue was so light, and the natural sweetness of the egg really stood out. All the obanzai (traditional Japanese side dishes) had a mild, comforting flavor and offered great variety. It was unique and memorable to find udon noodles hidden inside the chawanmushi☺️ The sesame tofu was also incredibly smooth and delicious. For dessert, I got the seasonal mini parfait, which is exclusively available to those who order the obanzai set🍓 Despite the name "mini," it was surprisingly generous in size◎ It was a luxurious treat featuring both strawberry mascarpone and Jersey milk ice cream, topped with homemade strawberry syrup, custard, and even slices of homemade pound cake. The mascarpone ice cream was definitely my favorite☺️ The locally grown Sanda strawberries were the perfect balance of sweet and tart, too. The limited-time "Strawberry Milk Shortcake Shaved Ice" was massive and totally show-stopping🍧 It looked absolutely adorable! It featured milk-based shaved ice drizzled with Asuka Ruby strawberry syrup from Sanda. As I dug in, I found crunchy crumbles and other tasty surprises hidden inside✨️ . . . . Time seems to slow down inside the cafe, creating a laid-back vibe where you can just relax and take in nature. The view of the greenery through the windows was incredibly soothing🌳 It's a very popular spot, so it was quite bustling. I made sure to book a table beforehand this time. Just a heads-up, advance reservations are only accepted for the 11:30 AM seating◎ You can get there by bus from Sanda Station, but they have a parking lot, so driving might be the easiest option🚗 It’s the perfect spot for a lazy afternoon enjoying lunch and sweets surrounded by nature. I went to Mentai Park Kobe-Sanda. You can learn a little about mentaiko through exhibits and the processing process. We went to Mirai Seisakusho, a children-only patisserie located on the grounds of Patissier Escoyama, famous for its Koyama Roll. Mirai Seisakusho is a patisserie exclusively for children 12 years old and under (elementary school students) located on the Escoyama grounds. It's a place that can be enjoyed from a child's perspective, so all adults have to wait outside. What an innovative idea! Up ahead is Chuo Park. It's probably not well known, but autumn in this park is truly beautiful. Children up to the early grades of elementary school can play freely here. I went to a restaurant called "Uwanosora" in Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture! 📍1891-27 Sue, Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture It was a wonderful restaurant surrounded by nature! The interior was calm and cozy! I had a healthy lunch packed with vegetables and a mini strawberry chiffon cake for dessert! It was a wonderful time eating delicious food while soothed by the cute interior and the beautiful view from the window! Apparently, you can sometimes get in without a reservation, so I recommend making a reservation beforehand!

Around this time last year, I visited a place like this ❤️ April 27, 2024 There were so many beautiful moss phlox flowers and adorable character figurines!! From Dragon Ball, Studio Ghibli, Ultraman, to Godzilla, there were various figurines that seemed enjoyable for international visitors 😊 There were also many dogs, and lots of people came with their pets! It was a perfect spot for a spring outing, where you could take a leisurely stroll and snap plenty of photos 🌸 With so many dogs out for walks, it was an ideal place to relax and unwind!

☝ This Zen temple was established around 1370. The main hall was rebuilt in 1778, and visitors can freely worship the Great Kannon Bodhisattva. The temple features one of only two thatched imperial envoy gates in Japan, welcoming worshippers. It is the 11th site among the 25 Kansai Flower Temples, and in April, visitors can enjoy the moss phlox. Unfortunately, in 2025, the peony garden in May and the iris garden in June will be closed. The soba noodles here are also famous, but please make sure to check the business days before visiting. 📍 Eizawa Temple (Yotakuji) Location: 210 Eizawa Temple, Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture Access: About 40 minutes by car from Nishinomiya Kita I.C. on the Chugoku Expressway, or about 25 minutes by car from Sanda.

✨Recommended Points 1. The scenery is stunning as it is located in a mountainous area. 2. You can enjoy freshly made soba noodles using Sanda-produced or domestically sourced buckwheat flour. 3. Even if there’s a queue, the turnover is quick. ☝ During a visit over a holiday, there were 18 groups ahead, and the wait was about 30 minutes. Ordered the Unsu Soba (a mix of grated radish and yam, priced at 1,050 yen) and tempura. There are pet-friendly seats outside, but they can be used even if you don’t have a pet.
