1974 was the last time I came here with my Mum . I had had swimming lessons at home but here I properly learned to swim in the pool in the El CID . It hadn’t changed one bit from what I remember . Still got the authentically Spanish feel . Pool is quite small but never crowded. It’s got a lovely atmosphere you can just relax on one of the big couches in the cool of the large lounge area . Staff are really nice . In the entrance hall there is free chilled water and fruit infused water which is welcomed on a hot day . Plenty to eat in the large breakfast room like hans cheese cakes yoghurt fruit rolls . Hotel is just a stroll away about 6 mins to the lively and lovely beach . Will definitely be back
