Last weekend, my son and I attended the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps, and it was by far the best motorsport experience we have ever had. We bought our tickets as soon as they went on sale almost a year ago and chose Gold 1 seats in Block D. Our seats were directly in front of the McLaren and Mercedes pit boxes and right opposite the podium, giving us an amazing view throughout the entire weekend. The tickets cost nearly €2000 for both of us, and they were absolutely worth it. Despite the huge attendance of over 400,000 spectators, the event was exceptionally well organized. We used Yellow Parking, located close to one of the circuit entrances, and paid €30 per day. Exiting the parking area took a little time after each day’s events, but everything was handled calmly, safely, and efficiently. The organizers also provided shuttle buses for fans parking farther away, which seemed to work very well. Inside the circuit, facilities were excellent. There were plenty of toilets, free drinking water stations, and a wide variety of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Even with such large crowds, it never felt overcrowded or chaotic. We enjoyed Formula 1, Formula 2, and Formula 3 races, and the atmosphere was incredible. The moment we arrived and heard the cars for the first time, we got goosebumps. It was a feeling that stayed with us all weekend. The Fan Zone was another highlight. We watched interviews with Ferrari and McLaren representatives and enjoyed the entertainment throughout the day. Everything ran exactly on schedule, which showed the professionalism of the organizers. To top it all off, Spa gave us perfect weather this year—something that doesn’t happen very often! My compliments to the Belgian organizers for delivering such a fantastic event. I highly recommend Spa-Francorchamps to every Formula 1 fan.
